Personally very happy with the service provided. We had Kam and Emma dealing with the purchase of our first house and they were excellent. Fast, communicative and helpful. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Waste of time. They don’t reply to emails or calls. You are left in the dark. They said from the start they would be proactive. You end up doing the job yourself.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS AVOID AT ALL COSTS They are a complete waste of time. Their procrastinating has made our buyer walk away and us losing our Dream Home. Days after appointing them we had calls and emails clarifying details of sale and purchase. Then weeks of complete silence with paperwork dropping through door. Sign it, send it back and hear nothing for another number of weeks. We saw a couple of reviews stating the same experience but gave them the benefit of the doubt, a regrettable decision. NO communication NOT Bothered about their customers Update: the fact they are prepared to reply with lies publicly should inform you of all you need to know YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

This is not the first time I have used a solicitors for my house sale as I have moved house a few times. But this will surely be the last time having Martin Kaye as a conveyancer. Worst possible experience ever. No communication, no response to my emails or phone calls. You expect to have some kind of update at least once every two weeks, but nothing, no communication. They even lost the documents I sent. After a few months I complained about the lack of communication and Michelle Poulton told me to find another solicitor. I would not recommend Martin Kaye to my worst enemy.

I chose Martin Kaye Solicitors as our conveyancing solicitor for the sale of our house after a recommendation even though they were double the cost of alternatives as I wanted to ensure the process went through smoothly and without delay or error. Unfortunately, this was not the service I received. Delays in answers to my questions whilst being chased by different solicitors for answers I had already given, I ended up getting through the process by using the estate agent as a go-between and establishing a communication channel with the buyers. Beyond the necessary filing and land registry access, the service I received was wholly inadequate in my opinion. I brought up my issues with them and requested they review the level of service I had received and I all got in response was the bill which pretty much summed up the whole experience.

I moved over to Martin Kaye and Kirsty after a disappointment use of a now defunct solicitors, they wer useless, no communication except the bill, on my first contact and meeting with Kirsty is a breath of fresh air, tbings moved incredibly fast compared to my last company. My ex wife was an awkward customer, but with the team at Martin Kaye the divorce was secured with an outcome i was very happy with

Employed Martin Kaye Solicitors to deal with a simple legal administrative matter that I was advised initially would take a few weeks. The solicitor originally dealing with my case left the firm and the legal assistant who took on my case mislaid much of the paperwork, requiring me to resend specific documents. The matter wasn't concluded until a year later (last month), and that was only after a series of mistakes and me chasing them weekly. I'm not convinced the legal assistant had any legal training - I say this because on one occasion she asked me to clarify the law for her. They made failed promise after promise and their level of customer service is abysmal. I shan't be using them again and I'd recommend others to steer clear.

I appointed Martin Kaye as conveyancers for a house purchase in 2021, on the advice of the seller’s estate agent. What a mistake. I imagine there is a cross-commission opportunity that both the estate agents and Martin Kaye benefit from for promoting each other. My experience has been that they are a lethargic, ambiguous, passive, dismissive solicitors. More than once they took over 7-days to reply to simple e-mail enquiries, and every time I talked to them it felt like I was starting from scratch. My transaction took 8-weeks longer than it could have, and I attribute 6-weeks to Martin Kaye. I do not believe this is because of the individuals, but more so the general ethics and approach of Martin Kaye. I have no doubt the team work hard, but clearly the leadership are taking on too many clients, driven by ambition to increase revenue, at the expense of delivering a quality service. I have delayed writing this as the individuals were nice people, but now I need a solicitor again it reminded me how important user reviews are.

Reviewing for a few years back with a personal injury... Alison was great to deal with. Would recommend and nothing says that more than going back with them for selling a house, so hopefully if all goes well, I can give another good review

A big thank you to Michelle Poulton and Craig Standen at Martin Kaye for being brilliant! They made sure the purchase of our first home went as smoothly and quickly as possible. They were both very friendly and responsive and dealt with our queries efficiently. Their fees were very competitive too. We would not hesitate to use their services in the future and would highly recommend them!
