It is ok for the odd bits and bobs but if you want something like a specific make of say apples they don't stock them also there is also only one person on the till and it's packed there are I think it's 1 or 2 self service check outs but if they break down then someone needs to fix that it just takes to long and to much hassle.
Just called in for a sandwich "meal deal". Choice wasn't great at 2:00pm on a Saturday, but I got something suitable. Service at the till was quick.
Always well stocked helpfull and pleasant staff.
Great wee store. Good selection of items that are reasonably priced - usually able to get what I’m looking for. Most of the staff are very friendly and always have time for the customers. Great location but parking can be an issue - should consider limiting parking outside to 15-20 minutes to prevent customers of the restaurant next door using the spaces for hours. If they did this they would get more custom as on numerous occasions I couldn’t get parked close by and went elsewhere.
Normally a good shop, the idea place to pickup the things you forget after the weekly shop. Today as a treat brought 2 cakes. The only way of getting to the cake shelfs was to knock away wasps, bought the cake went home, the wife took them out of the bag put them on plates sat down took a bite ... sting on both lips, the wasp must have been in the groves of the cake ..come on Tesco do something about the wasps in your store next time it could be a very young child.
Some of the staff are absolutely lovely, such as Steph and the majority of younger people who work there. However, there seems to be a lack of manners or respect from that of their older staff within this Tesco Express. Two older women, one with short dark hair and the other with blonde and glasses. For some reason it seems that they believe to own the whole of Tesco, rather than just working there. If I ask you to put the change in the charity box, or we finish a transaction, as a good employee to Tesco, your reply should not be 'right'. I have friends who work for Tesco and they always ensure they maintain a smile and are friendly to consumers; whereas these women seem to have absolutely no matters, for customers, for themselves or for Tesco. If you're not happy in your job, leave, and if you can't leave, at least DO YOUR JOB as the company says and give service with a smile. This is going to have customers walking away, such as ourselves. I understand people have good and bad days, but this is a constant thing. We live close to Tesco and we go there normally a few times a day, at least 5 times a week; and their attitude is just dire. In addition to this, I live in the building above Tesco, and what I do not want to find is a member of their staff (dark short haired woman), who does not live in my building, thinking it's ok to come up and sunbathe on her lunch... What an odd thing to do, just because she had access to our building, right outside, what would be a customer's, front door. Just because Tesco is linked to the car park does not mean Tesco staff live there and it should not be treated as such.
