Always been a favourite for many people as it is an independent from the brands everyone knows. Very much a local and well recognised store and very popular

Finally went in after their recent renovations have now been completed and WOW!! What a shop! So gorgeous inside with an incredible deli bar and so much food variety. Their car parking is a lot more spacious and manageable now. Much easier floor access for those with wheelchairs/prams too. Highly recommend visiting!

Greens has recently had a refurbishment and what a difference! The store now has a supermarket feel with a complete range of products, including coffee station, ice cream, delicatessen, post office and hot food bar. I purchased some chicken skewers from the butchers, which worked out quite expensive for 3 people. £8.10 for 6 skewers. They took ages to cook but tasted good. 2 Separate till points in the shop, which is good, both at the front and back. Still limited parking at the back of the store.

The premises are undergoing major redevelopment at the moment, but most departments are open, with a minimum of disruption. The new wing is fantastic. The usual high standard from staff is still evident & there appears to be little to no loss in selection of stock. Can’t wait for the complete works to be finished.

Visit here every few days, they stock many exclusive items, Dunken Donuts and their deep filled chicken and ham pie slices are a regular addition to my shopping basket. Where can you buy duck eggs and it's great to see the recent expansion of the butchery department and of course the rehousing of the post office makes more sense than were it was in the square.

My wife and I have been shopping in Green's for forty years now and I can honestly state that we have never been disappointed with the fantastic range of food products on sale. The staff are always eager to assist, taking care to actually walk with you to locate the product in question. Although the store is smaller than most supermarkets I can't recall a time when we were unable to get to the items we were looking for. Unfortunately due to the covid 19 pandemic the coffee area has been closed, which was always a great meeting place. Green's at present are renovating the property creating more space, which will obviously give us a greater range of products. Even with the renovations there is little or no disruption to us shoppers. Greene's must be a great company to work for as most of the staff have been there for years. Over the past months again due to the pandemic, we have been getting our fresh food delivered. We would this opportunity to thank Green's Food store and their pleasant staff for our making shopping over the years a pleasure and not a chore.
