Advertised a product as being available and delivered in 3-5 business days. After 4 business days I contacted asking about the status of order. It took a number of emails back of forth for cmostores to inform me that there was a problem with their supplier and sorry for the delay. They feel an appropriate response is apparently to raise this issue with their supplier. Meanwhile, the customer is expected to wait and just deal with this apparently. Ordered on 13th May and by 21st May I have no idea the status of the order and what’s happening. This is not a serious company. They don’t treat customers properly.

Dreadful. Edit post reply received. They have replied to my emails, indeed. After I asked them of a closer warehouse to return the items myself they claimed the only one they have is the one in Cornwall, some 400 miles away from where I live. No courier would collect my items due to their size, which although light in weight are very large( roofing grp alleys at 3m long). They declined to arrange collection at an extra fee. This online only business is in fact a broker sourcing items regionally from where the order was placed. They claimed they are sending the materials from their warehouse in Plymouth and the 14 days is the limit in which one can return items for a refund. I disagree and I believe I have 14 days in which I can change my mind. It may take more than 14 days for an item to reach Cornwall, or any other region. If I have expressed my wish in writing to return within 14 days on the 14th day, how long it will take that item to arrive does not void the right for a refund. I will however ask the question to the relevant bodies, nevertheless. Again, dreadful business and customer service. And they run several businesses under this name... Beware! I will obviously stick with traditional building merchants from now on.

I ordered x4 conservation glazing bars about a month ago on Roofing Superstore and was quoted 5-7 days delivery. After about 10 days started chasing and after sending many emails and long phone calls (never can talk to anyone easily) eventually was told that there was a problem with the order, it had been put down to come from the supplier but in fact, the stock was available in store and it would be dispatched shortly. Another week and I had emails saying the glazing parts would now be supplied by Velux directly. Waited for the delivery date (another week or so) and eventually 2 of the 4 bars I ordered arrived! Again spent a lot of time trying to call / email and I have been told that someone will contact Velux to see what is happening.... this story continues .... very poor never again

Don't ever get something from here! This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Been trying to get my refund collected due to a mistake on their behalf, I've been waiting since September and all I receive are generic emails that are all fluff 'we are sorry'. AVOID

Ordered many times, never once had a problem. Far more reliable than most. Any queries quickly answered or Liam calls me if there's a query at their end. Highly recommended

Wish I had read the reviews first before placing an order. Diabolical customer service. They don't actually hold stock as I've learned, preferring to use 3rd party suppliers, but they don't tell you this until it's too late. Very sneaky! My order has been lost in transit, and they are refusing to process a refund unless it somehow turns up at my door (so I may reject delivery???). They don't appear to understand consumer rights for this type of scenario. I don't know if I'll ever get my money back and will likely have to go through my credit card company for a refund. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend them. Obviously won't be placing another order. Suggest you stick to other retailers with a trusted physical stock business model, i.e. Screwfix, Toolstation, etc.

Absolute shambles of a company. Sent up £500+ of the wrong size insulation, they had the wrong address on the order using the billing address rather than the delivery address and are now charging us £129 for restocking. Avoid like the plague, worst customer service ive ever experienced

Refusal to provide the minimum legal requirement of a replacement for very faulty goods. Very poor quality product and shocked at the appalling customer services when (very politely) reporting the faults. After 15 e-mails and having provided photos with very clear evidence, CMOSTores.com has refused to replace the faulty goods. This included specific responses to queries regarding the type of paint applied - not only did we specifically check the specification with them prior to ordering but we specifically purchased the EXACT paint specification advised. We even noted that we had ordered three doors - all three delivered, treated, stored and fitted in the same way at the same time - yet two are faulty and one is fine. They have refused to refund or replace without confirmation that these EXTERNAL doors had overhead protection (like an external door is expected to fall apart within a month without overhead protection!? and in any case one of the damaged doors has been in dry storage) and without confirmation of the brand of paint (why on earth would we keep a record of the specification passed on to our decorator!? - Did they keep a record of the specification they gave us prior to order? - No.) The goods were part of a much larger order with matching products, some of which is already fitted, so the replacement costs are huge and we now have to progress legal proceedings via the courts. As you'll no doubt see with their response - they refuse to meet their minimum legal requirement to replace faulty products. For the sake of little more than a £100 these guys will put us through over £10k in costs. Do not buy anything from these guys if you don't want to risk getting products that are not fit for purpose with a warranty not worth the paper its written on.
