    Usually toolstation have been good in the past, however on this occasion I ordered online, one item was available same day and the rest of the order was next working day delivery. When I went to collect the whole order they insisted I had already had part of the order (even though this was the next day item) Ended up going back 2x, spoke to another employee who actually looked for my items, and found them just around the corner. Poor service from the First Gentleman I dealt with.

    Lovely branch, lovely people, always willing to help, nothing is ever too much trouble, have always been polite and funny. This is my branch of choice in Plymouth. Update December '24 I can only commend the recent staff changes, what a difference it has made, the morale and atmosphere in this store seems so much better and happier.

    This is a great store, they generally always have what I want in stock, and the staff are polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Unfortunately these staff are let down by one member of staff who is always leaning on the counter on his phone, letting the other staff run around when there is a queue of 4 or 5 people(I think he is the manager), hence my 1 star review.

    Changed my review from my previous 1 star. Went to the store 1 day after the order should have arrived the gentleman who served remembered myself from a few days ago. He said that there was an issue with the delivery (sent to wrong depot) but as he had 2 in stock the management let me have the stock. Also as as a goodwill gesture they gave me a refund. Refund posted in charity box. The reason I gave 4 stars is due to the contact centre. If you could call the store direct then this would have resolved the issue much better. Thank you for the lovely gentleman sorting out the issue

    A LOT of the time now I find they are out of stock with normally stocked items which means I have to return to pick up the item the next day. Its getting to be ANNOYING!! But it's a good way for THEM to get rid of other more expensive stock that tends to lying on their shelves for a while! eg cheaper expanding foam out of stock, but a MORE expensive foam is in stock! CRAFTY!!!!!

    Wonder staff and customers. Dropped my debit card outside store yesterday,a wonderful fellow customer handed in too the staff,text to tell me that they had it before I realized I had lost it. Saved my life according to the wife!!! Thank you all.

    Great friendly helpful service, good range of products, quick to respond to any questions, the quality of own branded products is generally pretty good. Any issues sorted out ASAP as we had an issue with a Makita drill - replacement handed over instantly on the spot. Given a free mask when I forgot mine. Also much cheaper than Screwfix for certain fixings- on some decking screws S******x are 50% more expensive! The staff here really make the branch, they are brilliant.

    As always in these difficult times I ordered with ‘click and collect’ from the Estover branch which is close to me. Text and email received very quickly to notify me order was ready and was able to collect it soon after ordering it. Staff at Estover always knowledgeable, helpful and friendly!
