Terrible communication. never answered, have reason to believe did not always tell us the truth - Julie always seemed to always leave at 2pm and then no one could help. no call when exchanged, had to find out from another party. Poor.

My experience with them was a good one. They have represented me in my difficult circumstances and they managed to get results for me in form of achieving my desired outcome, in the best interest of my family. My solicitor was very kind as in always asking about my family wether we were ok etc and always explained things to me when I didn't understand the legal language or procedures. I do have to say that you always have to ask questions when confused or in doubt about things and speak your mind very clearly aka "fight" for what you want, as that's your responsibility if you care about your situation ( solicitors will represent you but they won't care about your situation in your place or read your mind , don't mean it in a negative way but just saying : do your bit and they will do theirs ). I would recommend this law firm . Towards me and my situation, they were non judgemental, sensitive and careful as well as professionally caring re the emotional state me and my family were in . Excellent conveyancing service from Julie Buckland. We had a very tight deadline to buy before our mortgage offer expired (transferred from another sale that had fallen through). Julie battled with Strike (the buyers' conveyancing and estate agent) and got us to completion within 6 weeks at a reasonable price. Would recommend for sure.

Even with 2 months to prepare, god knows how much evidence I provided in my favour, they were rarely in contact with me and ignored my evidence. In court, my solicitor, David was vacant throughout, walked past me countess times trying to find me (I was in the same spot waiting for him), tried to prolong events to get another unnecessary court hearing and even "kindly" gave advice to my opponent. The secretary has the decorum and manners of an angry teenager and totally lacks empathy, understanding and humanity, truly not the right job for her. The only decent guy I met was James, but I only saw him a handful of times unfortunately, I can only assume he has to continually pick up the slack that his colleagues create so his time is often taken. My advise? use Cartwright king in Derby, and maybe you'll get the result a normal solicitor would aim to achieve.
Dreadful company. Please do not use. I used them for my divorce and was given such bad advice I was taken to court regarding access arrangements that they hadn't dealt with. Cost me so much more to sort. I used a fantastic solicitor though who was worth every penny wish I'd used them in first instance. Left me in a huge amount of debt.
