   From the second I walked into the showroom Taz was fantastic. He listened to everything we were looking for and had a fantastic knowledge, which was very reassuring. After visiting many other well known sofas companies it only took me 5 seconds to feel the difference in quality at this company. After visiting again and choosing the design from a vast range of options the sofa was made and delivered ahead of schedule. You don't get this level of customer services much anymore, so it's fantastic to experience. I can't recommend enough !!

   Absolutely chuffed to bits with the service and the sofas from Taz and his Team. We ordered 2 x made-to-measure Knoll-style sofas - his lads delivered them and helped us move all of our heavy furniture around while they were here. The sofas are fantastic quality and look amazing in our loung - we’ve already ordered a third sofa in the same style. Honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else for our sofas!

   I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants their sofa to fit in their space and be exactly what they wanted. Thanks to Nathan for his excellent sales advice and his skill in the workshop along with the rest of the team. I cannot fault the quality and look of my new sofa and am delighted with it.    Our experience with Taz and his team at The Designer Sofa was excellent from start to finish. After looking for new sofas for almost 4 years with the major sofa chains and independent retailers, we had almost lost hope of finding anything suitable to fit our living room. Taz was able to guide us with enthusiasm and confidence through the process of customising sofas with our own selected measurements and fabrics. All of the fittings and materials are of the highest quality and follow traditional construction methods that remind us how good British manufacturing used to be - and still is in Long Eaton. Their prices are very competitive too and it's fair to say that our expectations were more than exceeded. Thank you again to Taz and the team!

   I would like to thank Taz and all his wonderful staff for the the quality and build on our new sofa and chairs. They are beautiful. these were replacements for sofas we purchased from Designer sofa back in 2012. might i add they were replaced as a refurb and NOT through wear and tear. I would almost certainly recommend Taz and his team. On both occasions we have been treated with total respect and well informed as the build process was in progress.    Without doubt, the best customer service I have ever had. Zak, Taz and the team took our tired sofa and fully reconditioned and re-covered it to the highest possible standards. Don't waste your money at Sofology or DFS etc - get it done properly and by the best. It'll last forever and the knowledgeable team will guide you through the endless options and combinations, so that you can get the perfect sofa for your needs. The only shame is that it'll now be 20yrs before we have to come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

   We were introduced to The Designer Sofa by an Auntie in Stonehaven Scotland. She had a Multiyork sofa which she wanted reupholstering and from her research she rang Zak at The Designer Sofa.. He was so knowledgeable and advised her that the frames used by Multiyork were so solid that it would without a doubt be worth the investment in getting it reupholstered. Sadly due to the distance, she had to source a local upholsterer but she recommended Zak to us and we are over the moon that she did. Our Multiyork 'Imogen' suite was bought in 2003!! It looked so so sad :>( We were embarrassed by it. The piping on the seat cushions was exposed in places, there was absolutely no support in the cushions, it was easier to roll off the settee than stand up from it :>) Zak invited us to visit the showroom, choose our fabric and go 'behind the scenes', meeting the craftsmen, seeing them at work, admiring the end products. It was a no brainer, this was the company for us to give our suite a new lease of life. Our suite and two footstools were collected in January - Then in March Taz invited us to visit the showroom to see our suite before they delivered it. We were speechless at the total transformation. We even had the pleasure of meeting William, our skilled upholsterer. Where else would you find this kind of personal top level service. Thank you Taz, Zak & William - everyone who remembers our old suite cannot believe it is the same suite.

   Where should I begin? What an excellent company and what a wonderful team. We approached The Designer Sofa Company early in 2021 to design and manufacture a bespoke, curved sofa to fit in our curved lounge. We had tried a couple of other companies both of which came to nothing. Having spoken intially to Zak on the phone he invited us to the showroom to discuss our requirements. Our visit to the showroom lasted 4-5 hours and covered everything from shape, dimensions, fabric type and colour. Even more impressive was to see how the bones of the sofa would be made from English beechwood in the carpentry shop. Following the initial design consultation and deposit payment, Zak and his carpenter Nathan visited us to measure up the peculiar shape. They visited again a couple of months later with the wooden frame and one further time after they had some minor adjustments to the shape. Meticulous detail and patience! Finally after many months we received our sofa on a Sunday - perfect. We are so pleased with the result. 'Good things come to those that wait'

   Excellent traditional family run furniture makers! The designer sofa company in Long Eaton provides a unique service offering bespoke chairs, working with you to come up with a chair/sofa of your own. I wanted a chair to suit my disability and was comfortable for me sitting in the chair for longer periods of time. It really suited my needs, as a quite unique specification. The end product is well-made and really comfortable. The team at the designer sofa, listened to my ideas and was all very friendly. Involving me at every step in the way. All the team there is really approachable, they give you informed choices and do not pressurize. You feel like you are equally working with them to create your own furniture than being forced or lead to buy a product. They even helped to make some last-minute changes to the frame, as they helped ensure I was a part of the process every step of the way. This ensured it was right after changing a decision. When I visited for the first time, I could visit the factory, which was in the same building. Thus, all the staff there know the whole process inside and out. Helping you have a really informed decision. This is a unique factor, you can see the quality of their products and be fully armed with knowledge before deciding/buying. This really helps build a quality experience. Big thanks to the awesome team there. Would really recommend to others, they are a great family team to work on any new chairs/sofas etc you want creating.
