   The setting in which the festival takes place is amazing, however once I was in I was glad I was only there for one night. Most of the festival is taken over by a fun fair and food stalls which makes it feel more like a circus run by travellers. There was so many under 18s there drinking it felt like a weird environment. The atmosphere was rubbish there was one main stage which had some decent acts on. But saying there is other stages when one was just a gazebo in the woods was such a let down. There isn’t a large mix of genres of songs, so most of the night was walking around trying to find something good to listen to. I think this festival could be so much better !

   Great festivals experience that was nice and local Good selection of food and shops and a nice walk around the park grounds Definitely recommend to first time festival goers, parents and teens looking for a chill evening

   Amazing bands. Scouting for Girls & Paloma Faith were fantastic. Shame you’re not allowed to take picnics in as food is expensive if you’re there all day until last act especially for large families. Powderham Castle let you as do Eden Project, so don’t be tight & let people have a choice. For the ticket price i think that would help people. Mud was so bad getting to food stands my group gave up in the end. I had read a review from 2023 asking why there were no pasties so Tunes must have listened as there were several pasty stands. Cocktails at £9 each, so we shared, didn’t taste like there was much alcohol. Can of thatchers cider £6, same in supermarket are £5 for 4 so quite a mark up. Quesadilla was £10 but it was enough for 2 & tasted really nice. It had rained heavily in the morning so ground was very muddy which is expected but trying to get to the toilets when you’re disabled was a nightmare. I got stuck a few times & saw someone with crutches struggling. Straw had been put over mud but it didn’t help tbh. It was a quagmire around there & getting to food stands. Could’ve had a few toilets nearer for disabled. Police were friendly walking around, as were staff who showed us where to park. Other than that, the rain stayed away so it was great to watch all the acts.

   The Music was generally excellent. Some areas that can be improved are:- 1. More healthy food options lack of Vegan/ Vegetarian options. Juice/smoothies would have been good 2. Queued for over 1 and 30 minutes to get any food on Saturday night and expensive for what was offered. £15 for Nachos. 3. I suggest a Pasty seller particularly as base in Cornwall this would have fed lots quickly. 4. A covered area for bad weather 5. It was a bit “in your face” selling cans of coke marked 85p for £2 each. Better customers didn’t know this. 5. A barbecue would have been a good idea 6. The VIP area could have a a dedicated food area to add value to cost of the add on. A good experience that can be improved upon for next year.

   The Forest disco had the Bass so loud that people were continually moving to the right of the stage as you look at it. Unless you were close to the stage, the Bass interfered with listening to a lot of the music, except for Elbow as the Forest stage stopped. Its got to be someone I really want to see before i visit again. Overall, disappointing!!!!!!!! It was so obvious I cant understand why it wasn't sorted before the event.

   It was a Cracking weekend with amazing bands on show, would recommend but some amendments are needed. But make sure you take loads of mosquito repellent as there are millions of the blighters and everyone got bit. Also there’s no cash machine on site, so if your planning on using the bouncy castles, it’s £10 Per child, I’m guessing per day and you’d have to stay with them the whole time. You also need to pay £5 parking, even though parking was meant to part of the camping fee. They are also missing a trick when it comes to the camping side, there was one stall selling hot drinks, food but it was only open for a short space of time, a few more would be nice and the cafe in the courtyard could do with selling more, and better coffee, it was rank. On site maybe next year and onwards see about getting a few more selling stalls and maybe more shading areas.
