I would not even give a one star.
I paid over £600 to send a letter. They would not let me talk to a solicitor until I paid £7000.
Charged me in total over £2000 to send a letter and 3 emails.
Now they are with holding my papers. I had to get a advice from another company. I've now gone with them. But MKB law is not forwarding the case to them at the moment.
I wish I had of read other reviews before going to this company. Please stay away at all costs. They only fuelled by money. Not once did I get to speak to a solicitor. Reference my case. Total disgrace. Shame on you MKB LAW.

Genuinely appalling service from start to finish. My case was handed between multiple solicitors over the course of several years- each requiring a meeting (billed to me of course) to explain the case each time. I felt totally dismissed by all involved- as if no one could be bothered dealing with the case at all.
After multiple years, I walked away with a pittance compared to the bill handed to me by MKB Law. Would strongly encourage anyone to seek a better, more polite and motivated solicitors firm instead.

Lynsey Henderson has been my primary contact within the firm as she deals with all matter of commercial issues pertinent to a business. She has helped us with the review of multiple supplier contract terms including negotiation of points and disputes, restructuring our company engagement letters for further protection and flexibility as well as personally handling a secured lending case for us too including the drafting and negotiation of facility letters and a security package. I’ve had engagement with David McAlinden, for some pre-action protocol, and Ruari Maguire, regarding debt recovery action and advice, and much like Lynsey, they and the firm have handled everything as well as you could ask for.
Majority of legal firms have strong expertise and MKB is no exception, the quality of knowledge held across the firm covers all areas you’ll need. However, the biggest benefit we have found with using MKB has been the end costings and timings matching the initial quotes. We have had issues with this in the past with other firms not meeting deadlines and the costings being almost triple the initial quote. I’ve never had this issue with MKB. With them I’ve been confident on planning jobs and have full faith in their guidance across the multiple areas we use them for. For local Northern Irish businesses, MKB are second to none in terms of expertise and service.
