    My sister wanted a loan to achieve her credit score as she hasn’t started building her credit score. Evlo was the first option in her area (Walsall branch) spoke to David who works at the branch told her everything she needed to do and send to him. David got her hopes up and said there was no problem at all with her having a loan. She went to the branch the next day and David refused her. David Got all her hopes up after receiving every bit of information and had every bit of evidence he asked of her over the phone then he wanted to see my sister face to face to tell her no. He also said the reason we have said no is because your on ESA she not even on ESA!! David had everything of my sister’s income bank statements over the last three months, letters. My sister gave him all the evidence at the face to face appointment and he gave her this lame excuse. Do not use Evlo loans especially Walsall branch they get your hopes up on the phone the minute you arrange appointment and seen face to face for 30-40mins the agents turn all red in the face and have the pleasure to say no with a ridiculous excuse that is not even true. My sister has now got a loan and is happy it’s not with Evlo. Thanks for nothing a waste of time.

    I repaid the loan earlier and if I count correctly, within 6 months of repayment I repaid ~35GBP loan and ~1200GBP interest. I borrowed 2500GBP and after half a year of repayment I had to return ~2465 to close the loan. Any queries are unanswered. Both from head office and Walsall. JOKES
