Ian and the team did a brilliant job at selling our house for us. He didn't just give us a brochure and price list like some of the other local agents. He gave us a plan of how to take the property to market and achieve a sale. The correspondence throughout was first class and I would not hesitate to recommend Ian and the team to anyone else.
We met with multiple agents in Hucknall and elected to go with Martin and Co after both having very positive initial interactions with them and finding their pricing very competitive, compared with others we met. This was a brilliant choice. We found the whole process of moving rather stressful, but Martin and Co and in particular Rosie, were fantastic throughout, supporting us far above and beyond their remit. We were in a difficult chain that kept changing and was lacking proper EA services further up in the chain, requiring Martin and Co to do a lot more heavy lifting to push the chain to progress, which they did brilliantly. I can't recommend this branch, and the team here, highly enough. They were a superbly knowledgeable and supportive EA service for whom we were very grateful. Thanks again Rosie, Ian and team.
The service from the Hucknall team for the sale of the property was excellent. Their marketing and accompanied viewings enabled the property to be sold very quickly within a week. They made the process seamless and Rosie and Ian were very supportive giving time to both us, with advice and the buyers with visits. I would Highly recommend using the Branch.
This letting agency allowed me to live in a house with fire safety issues for four years. The house wasn't even cleaned when I rented it and had mold throughout I did the house up and cleaned it top to bottom when I left also fitted new carpet bath tap and got rid of all the mold and re sealed the entire house. Its now been over two months since my tenancy ended and they are not answering calls or emails about my deposit and are basically robbing me without even an explanation I would highly advise everyone to stay clear.
I recently dealt with Hilda at Martin and Co for a property I was looking to buy. Unfortunately I didn't buy the property in the end due to other offers but I just wanted to leave a review to say how good the whole service was. I was always kept in the loop with what was going on and I never once had to ring for an update. Hilda was professional, polite and knowledgeable from start to finish. Out of all of the estate agents I have dealt with so far with viewing and making offers for properties, Hilda has by far been the best. I highly recommend her and Martin & Co in Hucknall!
We could not recommend Martin & Co more highly as an estate agent. We recently sold our house with them and also bought our new property through them too. It was out first sale and Ian guided us through every step of the way. He was professional, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure both the sale and purchase ran smoothly. They are the cheapest estate agent in Hucknall to sell your property with, but were by far the most professional and knowledgeable. We had dealings with other agents in Hucknall who we found to be very patronizing unresponsive so Martin's were a breath of fresh air. Ian was with us every step of the way from the valuation through to sale negotiations, then he found us our new property before it went to market and followed through on all the sales progression personally. The process would have been infinitely more stressful without him as it was a huge chain with many complications, but he was never too busy to offer advice and support. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this was the best money we spent in the entire process of moving house. Thank you so much, we will be forever grateful to you for our forever home!
