I have nothing but the utmost respect and positivity for the service provided for me by Kingsbridge Hospital. I was seen promptly, the team was very efficient at communicating before, during, and after the procedure. My condition and treatment were explained very clearly to me. The physiotherapy was a huge bonus and I hope the treatments received will help alleviate my problem.

I parked at the King's hall and a courtesy bus brought me to the out patients door. Reception staff were friendly and showed me where to go. The radiologist explained what the procedure involved. The surgery was bright and clean. The procedure was very quick. On exit there was another courtesy bus to take me back to my car.

Overall I had very positive experience at Kingsbridge PH. The service was fast and efficient, both pre-op and post-op. I found the staff friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The building itself is very clean, well kept, and modern. The location is very easy to get to. It only took a few minutes from the M1 motorway. The only small issue I had was with car parking. It is located on a busy road and it can be hard to find a space to park. They do, however, provide a park and ride service at a nearby location, which I never had to use.

Great facility and superb staff who were so helpful. Surgery was incredibly efficient. The ham and cheese sandwich I ordered was the best I have ever had putting my efforts to shame. In summary it's a hospital done right from a patients view point.

I had my knee arthroscopy surgery at Kingsbridge Private Hospital and, overall, the initial experience was very good. The facilities are excellent, the environment is modern and comfortable, and the equipment is top quality. Both the nurses and the doctors treated me extremely well throughout the process. However, I was quite disappointed with the post-operative guidance. I was told by both doctor and physio that I wouldn’t need crutches and that I would be able to walk normally the next day. Unfortunately, that was not the case — three days later I still cannot put my foot on the ground. I am now having to seek support from the NHS to obtain crutches and the necessary after-care. It’s very easy for the private sector to benefit from performing the surgery, but then leave the after-care to the public system. I expected more consistency and responsibility in the post-operative advice.

Made several attempts to get the necessary documentation off this hospital for cross boarder reimbursement. Was told on the day of surgery they would be sent out via post. Still waiting, weeks later … Private parking is £3 an hour with a so called shuttle bus service … I’d be still waiting on that bus. Some nice staff, but in general a very poor service, particularly from an admin perspective.

The administration, booking of appointments and management this hospital is diabolical. I am reaching out to the management team to please please do something to improve your business. First of all, it beggars' belief that when I ended both my consultations, the said consultant gave me a date to come back and see him however when I went out 15 yards to the main desk to book the appointment, I was told there were no available slots that day? Can the consultant and outpatients not use a shared diary system etc? Secondly, when I attempted to phone the hospital to change an appointment, I was passed from pillar to post to a team that is obviously outsourced to deal with appointments. I held for ages and then once I spoke to someone, I was advised that they would need to check and call me back. I didn't receive a call back for hours and when I called back myself at the end of the day, I spoke to an adviser who stated, 'Ah well' sure it doesn't matter, I'll sort it out now. No apology etc. Finally, I have been trying to settle my account and chose the payment option line, I have attempted to get through 3 times this morning only to revive a voice message stating that there was no one available and to leave a message, however, the mailbox was full!!!! I have found the experience very disappointing and that if one is paying for a first-class service, there should be measures in place to provide that top level of service. Both my wife and me have been attending an alternative hospital for the last 20 years and we have been so satisfied with the professionalism of the clinic. Unfortunately, the surgeon I require for my current issue only works via Kingsbridge. It's a shame.

I had surgery at Kingsbridge just over a week ago I really wish to thank everyone involved who looked after me so well throughout the whole experience. My surgeon Dr. McComiskey who did such a wonderful job, and is such a kind caring person. All the lovely nurses and staff of Ward 1 who looked after me so well after the operation, Claire, Fortunate, Patricia, Donna and others whose names escape me now but they were all wonderful and I cannot praise them highly enough. The facilities were great as was the food, very nourishing and plentiful. I cannot recommend this hospital highly enough.
