I would like to leave a review about staff at the Day Procedure Unit. I don't have names for all the staff. I was under the care of Mr Thompson and nurse Siobhan. People doing their jobs with care, kindness, empathy and professionalism.

I recently had the pleasure of being cared for by the staff in the Cardiology Unit at Belfast City Hospital,I remember it was level 9 and I was incredibly impressed. Their compassion, expertise, and dedication to patient well-being were truly remarkable. They made me feel safe and supported throughout my stay. The welcoming and positive energy of the entire team was fantastic! Thank you for everything!"

I went in to the Urology day care clinic located on level 3 (if I remember correctly). I was extremely apprehensive as I was having a catheter removed. The nurses of this clinic were nothing but exceptional and very well patient focussed. They put me at ease immediately. They explained everything clearly and made sure I was ready for the removal. I stayed here for a couple of hours which is normal as they then want to make sure you bladder is working properly. They made me feel welcome and always had a smile on their face. The after care was great as they made all the arrangements for self catheters to be sent to my home address. Just a very simple and pleasant experience. I know nurses all work very hard but these ladies were fantastic on the day I visited!!

I started my breast cancer journey at the Belfast City Hospital in January 2025 & finished by ringing the bell on 27th June. From start to finish my care has been fantastic. Consultants, doctors, nurses, breast care nurses & radiotherapy have all treated me with respect, empathy, understanding I could go on. Even reception & appointments office have been lovely. I has to tell my story because they sometimes don't get the credit they deserve.

Glad to say it’s been years since I’ve been here and such a different vibe with no A&E and during Covid. The main car park is virtually empty each evening. If you meet six people on your way to the ward, that’s it. Parking was £1.70 going over the hour and payable by card so hassle free. First class care as always
