   How many phone call can doctors take in a day?? When you eventually get through you are told all the phone calls have been allocated, call back tomorrow...for more of the same! No matter if you are ill and need to speak with a doctor.

I fully empathize with fellow patients who share similar struggles in accessing their GP services.    Appalling service. Called on Monday for blood pressure and anti depressant prescription knowing I had enough to last me until Friday. Called the chemist on the Friday to see if the prescription was there - it wasn't. Called the surgery and on hold for 1 hour 18 minutes when the call was cut off. Called again and another 49 minutes and cut off. So now I have the bank holiday weekend with no BP pills or anti depressants - this isn't the first time I've had to try and get an emergency prescription issued by the pharmacist. Who can you raise this with? No one gives a hoot - tried changing doctors but it's all waiting lists at the other GP surgeries close by. I can't wait to get away from Springhill!

   Number 24 in queue one day, half hour on the phone… then the countdown stops and it rang for four mins before being picked up. “Sorry we’re full today. Doctors are in training every Wednesday”. Rang next day, number 16. Again half an hour on the phone, until it got to number 2. Then the phone rang and rang… I had it on speaker and let it ring for ten minutes, but no answer. Not even someone to say sorry, we’re full again. So if I’m number 16 and can’t get an appointment, does that mean they only see 15 people a day? Or less? Pathetic!

   Wouldn't even give it a 1 star. It's bad enough you can't get an appointment but being told you can't get a phonecall that they are booked up for calls at 10.30am in the morning, and this is everytime I call! It's shocking and not to mention the receptionist and how she speaks on the phone so rude and ignorant. I will be making a complaint.

   Phoned to speak to someone about wife's tablets making her ill. Every time I phoned I got cut off after holding on for a while. Doctor was to phone my son last Friday and did not! A rearranged phone call was made for Wednesday the following week but again no phone call. Checked to see if a call could have been missed but no call had been made.

   I just moved to Bangor and am looking for a new surgery. This one is handy and had 5 star reviews. I have a few questions before filling out the forms so phoned for advice. I have put in 11 calls in the last week and not once has anyone picked up. I'd say I have listened to that phone ring for well over an hour in total because there isn't even a voicemail, just rings and rings until you get bored and hang upI Dread to think how anyone actually gets to speak to a doctor here.
