Was at the surgery this morning for bloods etc to be taken was refused to be seen because I was 15 minutes late through no fault of my own but due to public transport being so slow but thats another issue. I was asked had i phoned to say I would be late I said yes twice but no-one answered on both occasions, as far as I could see there was only one person in the entire waiting area I had travelled from Newtownabbey having recently moved and not had time to change doctors yet. In the past I've had doctors and been to the nurses station were I've had to wait well past twenty minutes to be seen. And to be told be the receptionist the nurse wouldn't even come out to explain themselves, maybe if they had answered their phone it would have saved me a journey.

It’s not often people have positive things to say about their doctor’s surgery, so when a colleague recommended Kerrsland to me after I moved here from England, I felt compelled to register. I’m glad I did. The staff are professional, diligent, and genuinely friendly. There’s a clear focus on aftercare - medical staff here seem truly committed to resolving issues rather than simply moving patients along and hoping they don’t return. I’ve been particularly impressed by Dr. Emma Murtagh. Her professionalism, breadth of knowledge, and the care she shows to her patients are outstanding. She takes the time to understand your medical concerns with the upmost tact and professionalism, offers realistic solutions, and ensures you feel heard and taken seriously. She is a credit to your surgery.

Kerrsland Surgery is excellent. It is a truly friendly, caring and professional team who really look after their patients. When my elderly father phoned last week, the receptionist not only dealt with his enquiry, but as she had seen that there was a note on his records requesting he speak to a GP, she very kindly suggested she would request a call back for him that day. He was delighted to get a call from Dr Coulter later that morning. I was really impressed by the way my father was treated. Thank you so much

I very rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to after the exceptional care that myself and my children have received at Kerrsland. We have recently moved from another surgery and it’s night and day in comparison. From the receptionists, nurses and doctors, every person that I’ve encountered has been helpful, friendly and professional. With having young children, I now feel confident that I’ll be able to speak to a doctor and get appointments when needed. I couldn’t be happier with the service, thank you!

Always able to get a callback from a doctor and able to get an appointment for either that day or the next day. Very efficient.

Trying to book a blood test for over a month and can't get in.....196 calls this morning to finally get through and be told they have no slots, try back on Friday again. Amazed they have made no policy changes to improve service since Covid began. Surely this can not continue?!

Very efficient service. I was able to get through on the phone quickly and speak to the GP within an hour regarding my son. Thank you to Joanne on reception who went out of her way to help

Saw Dr Millar and a lovely nurse to have a little cyst removed, needless to say I was quite apprehensive with the procedure but they very much put me at ease. I'm a fan of the new appointment system, I've had three appointments within a week with Dr Lockhart and Nurse Headley and I have been in and out within 30 minutes, that certainly wouldnt have been the case with the old system. Extremely professional and have a lovely bedside manner by all medical professionals.

Kerrsland surgery is simply fantastic - well managed and efficient, with great staff who always go out of their way to help. Even in the midst of covid, their service levels have remained superb - you can still get access to a GP through a phone call in the morning - sure, you do get the odd 'busy' tone in the mornings, but there's not much more they can do about that, with the pressure the service is under it's totally expected and acceptable. Compared to my previous rural GP surgery, the service Kerrsland provide is night and day. I've never before had a GP proactively call me out of the blue to check in on my progress, which to me is just one of many indicators of the high calibre of their team. In 6+ years of being registered at this practice, we've never had a single 'bad' interaction with any member of staff (and with young kids, we've been there more often than we'd like!). Many thanks to everyone on the team!
