   I have been with this practice nearly all of my life, the doctors are wonderful and very competent but the staff on reception are very poor at their jobs. No coordination amongst themselves with communication, for both the practice and pharmacy needs, newer staff are extremely rude and completely insolent on the phone. The new system for call backs is a complete shambles and it feels like reception dictates the severity of your needs which is completely unjust and unfair as they are not medical staff and not in a position to make these calls. The system has deterred me from seeking help for minor ailments that I left long before addressing and when I finally addressed them they had increased in severity but reception still made me wait 5 days for a simple call back, NOT an appointment, but merely a call. They are so rude to patients and speak in a very belittling tone, even when the errors are on their part and not the patients. I wish I knew how to lodge these complaints but it seems that even getting medical care has become a task from a once great surgery. So so disappointed in it.

   I had recently rang to join as a new patient as I am within the catchment area of this practice. I was told to wait 2-3 weeks on a doctor to ring me to welcome me to the practice. On that phonecall the doctor told me I wasn’t welcome at the surgery as I lived too far away and they were too busy for me. So although my address falls within the correct area, they would rather be selective in who they treat. I am majorly disappointed as I wasted 2-3 weeks waiting on a GP who refused me for no reason. Don’t recommend.

   I had a Rapid Access appointment following a call in the morning, Dr Mowbray was excellent. She was very attentive to my needs and listened to what I said, I did not feel rushed in any way and left feeling a lot more confident about what was ahead of me. I have to say this has been my impression of the surgery over my years of use and even though some of the staff have changed the standards of care have not
