   Autism NI is an incredible charity that truly makes a difference. The phone call I had with Amy this morning made a great impact on me. I only received my diagnosis a month ago as an adult, after struggling for so many years and feeling misunderstood—even by medical and mental health professionals. Amy was exceptionally understanding, kind, and helpful on the phone. She provided me with  information about the support available in my area. What stood out the most was how she followed up our phone call with an email, summarizing everything she had shared with all the contact details. This was super helpful, especially since my executive functioning isn’t at its best right now due to burnout. I ’ve sent her a few emails with more questions, and she’s been so kind and promot to reply every time. Amy is so knowledgeable and empathetic, and I felt truly heard and supported throughout our conversation. It was such a relief to have a space where I wasn’t rushed or dismissed. I only wish I had reached out to Autism NI sooner. Thank you so much, and keep up the amazing work!
