   I honestly cannot thank Shane and the team at Kingsbridge Opticians in Donaghadee enough. During a routine appointment, Shane spotted a retinal hole that had been missed for years in my eye! His diligence, attention to detail and genuine care meant he caught something that could have led to a retinal detachment if left unnoticed which is really serious and can cause a threat to your vision. I was gobsmacked that this hadn’t been picked up before. He acted immediately, arranged a rapid referral to the hospital, and made sure I was seen quickly with all the information the consultants needed. I’ve never experienced this level of professionalism and true patient care from an optician before. I’m genuinely blown away by the service – Shane is absolutely exceptional at what he does, he is known locally for his amazing service too. If you’re looking for an optician who goes above and beyond and truly has your best interests at heart, ask for Shane. He deserves every bit of recognition for what he did for me. Highly, highly recommended the services at this opticians. The staff are wonderful!
