   Went on a day that it was rather wet and muddy so probably didn’t get the best experience. Only got to really see the ducks, swans, geese and Canadian geese from the first pond next to the car park, as there is a lot of bushes around the first pond. We followed the loops which always brought us back to the bridge. In all we spent about 30 minutes walking around the loops. Parking is free and there is probably enough space for about 25/30 cars. On the day I went the car park was pretty full even though the weather was not great.

   Perfect Place to feed mixed grain bird food to the geese, swans, and ducks. A beautiful nature reserve where there's lots of trails to follow for miles if you want to explore.

   Excellent place for a nice casual stroll around. Plenty of ducks,geese and other assorted waterfowl, including a cormorant. Bird feed available via the duck food machine. Years ago there used to be a burger bar/caravan on site selling all sorts of snacks and drinks. This was well patronized and so it was soon banned by the local council gestapo. Despite lots of protests by many people at the time, the council decided it had to be banned ‘as part of the bigger picture’ whatever that means? Well worth a visit nevertheless!

   Really lovely spot, quite alot larger than I initially thought on arrival, so was pleasantly surprised. There's lots to see and do, from cycle paths, rivers and streams, wildlife and wide open spaces. It's clean, well signposted throughout. A thoroughly enjoyable day out whether alone with the dog or out with the family.

   It’s a lovely place however I feel it could do with more, I know it will never compete with Attenborough nature reserve may be a little play park for children might be nice.

   Great place for bird...especially water bird watching. Good parking. It is a short walk with good wheel chair access round the lake or longer walks stetch from here in many directions.
