I went to see Stephen Hunter with very distressing tinnitus. He recommended hearing aids which have been a lifesaver. The support both before and after the fitting of the aids is first class. Stephen is very generous with his time and is a very empathetic person. Would highly recommend.
Such a lovely welcoming opticians, firstly by the girls at reception who show you to the free coffee station! Always a bonus. The girls give great opinions on your potential new specs and will encourage you to try different styles and give you confidence to try something different. They also will tell me if something doesn’t suit which I really appreciate. Shane is an amazing optom his energy and enthusiasm for his job are fab. He is so caring with my sons and my husband also really enjoys his appointments with Shane as he takes the time to talk over his eye issues. Would not go anywhere else!!!
I have been attending Kingsbridge Hearing on the Lisburn Road, Belfast under the care of Stephen Hunter since April 2020. COVID had hit, and unfortunately I could not get my routine appointment with the RVH following serious ear surgery. I was allocated an emergency appointment with Stephen. He was very knowledgeable about my condition, professional, kind and has a great sense of humour! I now visit Kingsbridge for treatment by Stephen 2-3 times annually and would not go anywhere else. On my last visit he even noticed my glasses needed adjusting and kindly asked Kingsbridge Eyecare (located beside the hearing clinic) to adjust them. I can’t commend highly enough, Stephen and all the Staff at Kingsbridge Opticians & Hearing Careon in the Lisburn Road, Belfast Branch. Their professionalism, knowledge and expertise in Audiology is second to none and I have been greatly impressed with the treatment and customer service I have received. Having a late onset hearing loss, for any reason, can knock your confidence. Conversations become difficult both in a social and professional work environment. Hearing loss is often hidden and those without a hearing loss, often don’t fully understand the difficulties we encounter in daily life, no matter how sympathetic they may wish to be. Stephen has years of Audiology experience and he is empathetic to the needs of you as an individual and your hearing loss which is unique to you. I felt cared for and valued by Stephen. He answered any query I had, took time to explain things to me and helped me understand my particular type of hearing loss more thoroughly. With my Phonak hearing aid and my Roger device, he took time and effort to explain how they work in various scenarios and gave me tips on daily living with both devices to optimise their benefit to me. I have a fully qualified Hearing Dog as well (Edna) and Stephen is always welcoming to her at my appointments. Kingsbridge pricing and services are fully transparent and I think excellent value for money. I fully recommend them to anyone seeking good quality products and services for hearing loss. Cannot recommend Elaine highly enough. As someone who has "difficult" ears and therefore needs regular help with wax removal i have found Elaine to be gentle, patient, thorough and tenacious! Such a relief to have my appointment with her and to have a comfortable return to full hearing.
I have been extremely impressed with two things: Stephen's expertise as an audiologist and his attention, engagement and understanding of my anxiety about hearing loss. Then finding a solution that helped me so much.
