I have used several opticians in the Bangor area. None were as professional, helpful, informative and welcoming as Vision Express. I've been extremely impressed and each visit has resulted in the best possible outcome for me.
Excellent and friendly staff with none of that push for sales approach. I was given time to choose from a wide range of frames and given honest feedback. Would highly recommend.
Wouldn't recommend. Couldn't see frames that I liked so I asked for script to buy elsewhere. When I went to 2 other retailers they advised I needed the bvd score which is mentioned on vision express document but was blank, the girl told me vision express don't use it so don't record it. I then was told by vision express I needed another eye test as that optician was no longer there and I would need to pay for it again. Firstly if it's a box on my eye test document why aren't you recording it? Secondly why do I need to pay for a retest if your optician didn't do there job. Complete joke of a process especially as all other opticians I have contacted wanted this score recorded!
I could not have asked for better service. Experienced staff, a very thorough check up and better service than I’ve ever had before regarding my choice of glasses. Far exceeds any previous optical experiences I’ve had for the last 40 years or so. Highly recommended.
Easy to get an appointment via the phone but not so great on lone booking ! Had to ring thrm up to.vheck about this. All staff very attentive and I was there to get my glasses fixed.y husband was there for a test. Very polite staff. And even walk ins where dealt with quickly, agiy was looking fur a pair of designer shades ! The eye yest went fine and my husband was made at ease .
Thankyou for your help this morning you have confirmed my faith that big concerns don't care about anyone disabled. My mum rang this morning as my parents were going to be late by 5 or 10mins. To be told by an employee not to bother coming as the appointment could not be held. My mum is 84 and my father is 85 my dad has muscular dystrophy type 2 and cannot walk. MD type 2 is extremely rare if you wish to google. But don't worry we got sorted with specsavers who are going to do a home visit. We will not be back.
Appalling service this morning. Had an appointment at 1130. Walked in 10 mins early tried on some glasses, no one helped. Took a seat at 1130 (appointment time) no-one approached me. Sat until 1145 and walked out. Not one member of staff asked if they could help or even who I was, if this is how they treat able-bodied customers I shudder to think of the service a disabled customer would get...
I had a very good visit with Sarah McNeice, she has taken care of my eyes for many years. I consider my eyesight as perfect at my age. Sarah is a lovely person to talk to and makes things so clear. I look forward to seeing her again in 6 months.
Wonderful experience - everyone was so friendly, efficient and helpful - the only thing that would have made the visit seem like I was visiting with friends would have been a cup of tea! The staff could not have been more helpful.
Fantastic experience,luckily I got an appointment that worked perfectly for me.The staff were very welcoming and professional I felt at ease and each step was explained well so I would have no problem recommending this location very satisfied looking forward to getting my glasses.
