Well what can I say! Jo organised and supported The Great Day Choir through their very first tour. She went above and beyond to make sure that we had a wonderful time. The trip to the caves was such a highlight as was singing with Bridgetown and Totnes Community Choir at St John's Church Totnes. This weekend tour to Torquay was just the right length for my easy going choir. Definitely going to book another one! Highly recommended! Thanks Jo
Our choir tour to Norwich last weekend was immaculately planned by Jo at Sound Escapes. Her detailed research, planning and communication made my job as organiser so much easier. We had a lovely and busy 3-day choir tour including an excellent coach and driver, comfy hotel, good restaurants, 3 stunning and welcoming venues for our performances, great promotion by Jo resulting in good audiences, and a lovely relaxing afternoon on a Norfolk Broads boat trip. Our choir has done a good few tours and this was described by members as "One of the best tours ever"!
We are all still buzzing from our first ChoirJam tour with Sound Escapes! It literally couldn't have gone any better. Jo's can-do attitude and attention to detail have made her a joy to work with. We had a wonderful mix of performances and outings in Torquay and Totnes. We sang in a 15th century church, a prehistoric cave, Torre Abbey gardens and in the outdoor pool complex of the hotel! Jo was happy to take any suggestions on board so that the tour was bespoke for us and really worked for the personality of our choir. As the tour leader, I thought I would inevitably feel the pressure of being in charge, but everything was so well organised I was actually able to relax and spend time socialising with my choir members which was lovely. Jo's colleague, Judy, was on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly - she was always one step ahead and great at communicating with me throughout the tour itself. I'm now planning our next tour with Jo! If you're looking for a personal service from someone with years of experience in the industry, I can't recommend Jo and Sound Escapes highly enough.
Jo and the team were professional, calm and reassuring all the way through the first tour I've ever been involved in planning. We had an amazing time in Paris, sang at the Jardins de Luxembourg, enjoyed a wonderful boat trip seeing the sights, and ate at some incredible places. We loved every second of it! Just planning the next one now.... :-)
The KEMS Macclesfield Concert Band had a great time on our tour to Norfolk, playing at bandstands in Ely, Gorleston and Norwich. Good audiences and good bandstands with a programme expertly and efficiently organised by Jo.
We had an amazing tour in East Anglia with Sound Escapes. The organisation was first class, navigating all the 'post' Covid restrictions and enabling us to enjoy making music together again for some very appreciative audiences.

Our tour was a great success - mainly down to the team at Sound Escapes understanding exactly what we wanted and creating a fabulous itinerary. Everything went according to plan and we had a thoroughly good time.
