A disgrace - this is has been going on for years- The Disgusting Toilets for numerous years these toilets are an embarrassment to the M&S name I would expect this sub standard toilets in Stratford Westfield Shopping Centres Public toilets….but Marks and Spencer in Croydon
Marks & Spencer in Croydon is a well-organized store that offers a good mix of clothing, groceries, and household essentials. The food section is particularly impressive, with fresh produce, ready meals, and bakery items that are always of high quality. Their sandwiches and meal deals are great for a quick bite, and the dessert section never disappoints. The clothing section is neat and has a good variety for all ages, though sizes for popular items can run out quickly. Staff are polite and helpful, but during peak hours the checkout lines can get a bit long. Overall, it’s a reliable place for both shopping and quick grocery runs. Clean, well-stocked, and conveniently located right in the heart of Croydon.
For the past 4 weeks, the only thing I have been constantly hearing in their cafe is: we don't have it. Today, out of a long all-day breakfast menu, they can barely do a bacon roll. Apparently M&S has no clue that they should deliver eggs to their own cafe. You are just content with turnips, aren't you? If you are incapable of ensuring basic deliveries, then close this sorry cafe and rent the place to someone who is competent enough to run such business.
Easy to use click and collect. Tried to order a cake in store, but there were not enough staff. A member of staff stayed late to help me.
Always well organised. Fresh products. Service or self check out option available. Nice flowers choices. I would only ideally saw the shopping trolleys without putting a coin in. Who will stole trolley from 1st floor of the building on the grocery part?
This review is for the Café: The staff were agreeable, nothing stand out about the service with the exception of a really sweet Muslim girl who was running the food. She seemed like the only person working there that was not an NPC. The food can only be described one way… bland. I assume it’s due to all the older patrons but I am not exaggerating when I say the food came in less than 3 minutes and tasted like the chef had never picked up so much as a grain of salt in their life. The food looks very cute but it tasted dry and clinical, like hospital food. The minced pie latte was the star of the show. Really nice coffee! The decor and furniture was cute compared to other in-store café areas but the tables were tiny. Myself and my partner managed fine once we moved to a double table but it was something we immediately noticed when we sat down. Overall, not the worst in-store Café (that pleasure goes to TK Maxx) but considering how great the food quality is in their supermarket, i’d just expect better from the cafe. Might pop in again for a coffee if I’m at Marks & Spencer’s having a shop, but I wouldn’t seek the cafe out again.
Just needed a couple of things , new slippers and underwear. Found both very quickly. (I have been to the dept before). Good quality stuff. The ones I replaced were about 5 years old.
