Ah, Primark Wood Green, where patience goes to die and customer service is little more than a rumour. The queues here are impressively long, not because the store is bustling with efficiency, but because the employees appear to be locked in a fierce competition over who can move the least. The staff seem to operate in slow motion, breathing appears optional, and blinking might be considered overexertion. Smiles are nonexistent, as though basic politeness were an upsell rather than an expectation. When I politely mentioned that I didn’t need the hangers, the response was a masterpiece of apathy: “I don’t have scissors.” And that was that. No attempt to find a solution, no glance around for help, just a blank stare that could curdle milk. And heaven help you if you dare suggest they’re not doing their job. The response? They simply close the till and walk away, leaving you standing there wondering if you’ve stumbled into a social experiment about human indifference. Primark, I understand you’re about affordability, but perhaps a smile, some initiative, or even the will to remain conscious on shift wouldn’t break the budget

10/10 customer service from a lovely retail assistant called Marvel. I popped in a last week and I was looking for certain short black dress, Marvel managed to help me with what I was looking for and also gave me variety of options if I wanted to have a look at the other dresses at Primark, Wood Green. She is a great worker. If she sees this then Thank you Marvel for your help last week!

Really poor customer service, not enough staff on the till, only one staff serving and in the disabled queue people are just queuing, it’s not being prioritised properly to the customers that’s required this service. Manager is there too busy counting money at the till and customers were just leaving the queue and walk away.

Nice place and it has everything you would need. Much better than Westfield Stratford. Inside actually got a mini coffee shop where you can buy drinks and light snacks. It's a plus for me

Great variety of clothing. Connected to the woodgreen mall for easy access to other shops. Limited checkout points (2 on the ground and 2 on the first floor) create a queue, but it clears faster

If I had ro describe your staff I'd say this shop is run by angels! Today my son got very upset and projectile vomited everywhere. All over me, the floor, my shoes and his pram. I felt awful and said I'd clean it but they insisted they would do it for me and they did! They cleaned it up and gave me supplies to clean up myself. Thank you so so so much! I've actually been coming here for years and I'm so so grateful for the help I received today, and again...sorry for the sick on the shop floor, I'll make sure little man is in a better mood at my next visit. Xx

Very busy at Primark today due to school holidays. Picked up a pair of boys camo trousers. Has an elasticated waist with an additional 2 side pockets and a back pocket. Great value at only £9 and very comfortable.

Well, it may be busy and chaotic, but it's pretty amazing that they can offer such a nice range of clothes and accessories for such low prices. Got some lovely clothes for my lad today - underwear, tracksuits bottoms and fleeces and got an extremely low bill at the end. Completely different experience to my last visit 15 years ago which was like a jumble-sale and a wrestling match combined. Expect to queue for checkout and don't forget to be nice to the staff.
