   I wouldnt recommend at all, I found them really underhand and at times unpleasant do deal with. When trying to buy my home and going through the bidding process they told me there was no point making a higher bid on the property because the vendor wouldn't be interested and had decided to sell to another bidder, I was then hurried off the phone. I thought about it overnight and emailed them the following morning with my bid to ensure that they had to put my bid to the vendor. I then received a very snotty email back accusing me of "gazumping" and explaining to me that this was frowned upon. I shouldn't have needed to gazump if they had put my offer to the vendor. After my email they lied and said they couldn't contact the vendor ( Holly actually called me to tell me they were still trying their best to contact him) when in fact I had taken it into my own hands and went to the person's door directly and he told me he had spoken to them and was keen to accept my offer. They were trying to sell the house to a buy to let bidder who was obviously known to them. I couldn't believe how devious they were. I didn't make a complaint because I knew by the way they treated me that they were dishonest and sneaky and I didn't think for one minute that a complaint would be dealt with seriously.

   Unfortunately I cannot recommend Penny Smyth Estates. Perhaps these estate agents are great when selling a house, however buying through them was extremely stressful. Our buying process started well, we were impressed with the customer service and attentiveness of the agents at the viewings, however once we hit sale agreed and a few things looked as if they were going wrong the customer service we received quickly took a hit. I felt as though I was a nuisance and was greatly inconveniencing the staff when I rang to ask for updates and I was practically chased off the phone more than once. I understand that estate agents work for the seller, however, I do not believe it is too much of an ask that as a buyer I receive good customer service. I felt great relief upon completion because it meant I no longer needed to hear from or contact these estate agents, I would genuinely avoid using them in the future.

   I have no hesitation in recommending Penny Smyth and her team. The whole process of selling my property was seamless. Penny took care of the viewings and sold the property inside a week. This was by far the best experience I have had when selling a property. Always on hand to answer queries, giving me regular updates by phone and email without me having to prompt them; this all made the process hassle free and stree free. If I could rate the agency 10 stars I would. Thankyou Penny, Kerry and Claire for your professionalism, knowledge and support - and for all the laughs and banter, it was a pleasure.

   Penny Smyth Estates are a great estate agents from the advertising to viewings . My house was able to to get offers and then sale agreed within weeks of being on the market . They are lovely and easy to communicate with throughout the sale of my house . So happy with the service i recieved from them all.

   We have had such dreadful experiences renting with people in the past, and it has left me as a very paranoid tenant, as it doesn’t feel like letting agents work for me, they work for the money, and the same with the landlords. I’m so used to having to fight to feel secure in the place I call my home. It’s my first instinct. But penny smyth have gone above and beyond helping us with this property we’re renting. We moved over from England to NI, and they got us a flat that suits our needs perfectly, powered through the paperwork, and got us in within a week and a half (just in time for the move!) They’ve seen to it personally that we’re comfortable and not having issues, and the issues we have had have been done respectfully and in a great time efficient manner. If you get the opportunity, I would 100% recommend working with this delightful team. I know I will be staying with them as long as physically possible!
