Good service received in store and the optition was amazing super helpful and informative but the waiting area is questionable. A few chairs outside of specsavers itself in the walkway so its a tad busy and crowded. I think they could do with a slightly bigger premises. Apart from that the staff where all super helpful and polite.

Of opticians in Plymouth and specsavers in particular, my wife and I have found the Plymouth Sainsburys Branch of specsavers to be outstanding. We previously used a well known Optician partnership and whilst we found specsavers offers far better value in general, we found there to be no comparison in terms of professional, pleasant and caring staff that this particular branch of specsavers offers. We discovered the branch almost by accident but have now established it as our only go-to optician. Appointments are promptly kept and although space here is quite limited, every effort seems to have been made to ensure a lack of queues and the comfort of patients. Outstanding in the field.
It was easy to book an appointment and communication was great throughout process. The team at Specsavers were very pleasant, helpful and professional. The Team member who completed my Contact Lens Check - Pat, was friendly and approachable and answered all my questions
Easy to get to and park. The lady who did my eyes was great and when I asked for my pupil distance said easy. The guy at front will bring it up on your records. Went to guy on desk who I paid would not look it up and insisted ( quite abruptly) I contacted armada way. What a jobs worth and marred a good first impression of the shop.
I had my eye test, chose my new frame and collected my new spectacles within a couple of days. Great service and super quick at the same time. The members of staff were very helpful and pleasant whilst helping me with all my needs. Super!
Visited today 23rd. Sept 2022,to make an urgent appointment as advised by my oncology care team. Couldn't get one until next Wednesday 28th. Sept. 2022, but was informed that if a cancellation became available then they would contact me. By 1.00 pm the phone rang and there was a cancellation for 2.05 pm, was I interested. For sure I was. Saw Eilin for all the usual tests, then Emily the opthalmologist. Both absolutely excellent, kind and caring. Special thanks to Andy who arranged it all. He was very kind and so helpful. Between the three of them they made it a pleasant experience. Thank you all.
I was asked by my GP to attend a MECS optician. They didn't have any available appointments and made the point to check on the nearby stores too. Upon explaining further why I needed the appointment one of the optometrists was very helpful and kind. She reviewed my eye then and there and prescribed some eye drops. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. I was very relieved with the information that she provided and I'm thankful that she helped me without the appointment.
While I wanted to thank the team at Specsavers Marsh Mills, for their excellent service and professionalism. The whim came upon me to share an image of the back of my eye for educational purposes. You can't cut corners with your eyes, and I found everything about the testing process, quick fitting and hassle free checkout just to my liking. The price...
