We had a bad experience with Morton Pinpoint. We lived in a house let from them for two and a half years, all the while trying to maintain good communication with them, letting them know about the damp problems with the house. When moving out we rented a gardener and cleaner to help us get the house into a really good condition, to ensure we got our deposit back. A MP agent came round and saw the house and said we should get our deposit back. But when the owner came back and saw the damp he said we must have been drying clothes in the room, and the MP agent backed him up, saying this was the only way this kind of damp could be caused. So not only did I live in a damp room for two years, and have nothing done to improve it, which is bad for your health, I then had to pay for the room to be repainted (Β£250), because apparently I had caused the damage. They told me I was lying to my face. It left us feeling really shafted. MP were at fault because they didn't communicate with the landlord that there was a problem, and didn't do anything to solve it, though we asked them to, but they shifted the blame onto us, and the landlord fell for it. Raging. All the estate agents are as bad as each other though. My advice: Take pictures of all damage when you arrive, everything, even dirt on the floor. Do all communication by email and get a lawyer's help (check out legal aid) if they try to keep your deposit. People let them away with it, as we did, so they keep doing it.

Should be no stars. Terrible company, very entitled staff. Awful communication and appalling professionalism. No awareness of GDPR whatsoever. They seem to be unaware of their basic role as an estate agent and their expected level of customer service they owe to buyers and sellers alike. They donβt appear to have much integrity or decency in dealing with people. Very disappointed with the experience and wouldnβt attempt to do business with them again.

Horrendous service as a seller using PinPoint. Avoid this company at all costs. I initially had my property listed with PinPoint to which I had to remove my property from them. The company appear to be extremely understaffed & running with skeleton staff. Some of the staff are unprofessional & also come across inexperienced in their field. As a seller, it was near impossible to get a hold of Alan who was my point of contact and was to conduct viewings on my property. I had phoned 4 times in a row on on different days to request a call back due to a disappointing level of interest in my property. My calls were never returned. I then demanded to wait on the line until I spoke with Alan. I explained that I had requested a call back several times to which he replied βwhat is it youβre calling forβ. Not even apology or an explanation. My property had been up for nearly 2 weeks & still not a for sale board to been seen. Like previous posts have mentioned, management seem to be non existent. I had requested a manager to call me back so I could go over the issues I am facing. No manager ever called. I quickly realised that PinPoint are incompetent on delivering a basic level of customer service to their client & I would dread to think the level of service a potential buyer or bidder would have in terms of communication. I phoned to have my property removed with immediate effect in the morning. The next day, it still was not removed & I had to phone again & was told a manger wanted to call me. This never happened. It was then eventually removed. Alan also had a different valuation for the house compared to two other well seasoned valuers and stated we would not get more than a set price & it would take time. Surprise surprise, this was wrong - I quickly listed my property with a very well known estate agent in the area & my house was sold in under 24 hours & for OVER ASKING PRICE & above Alanβs valuation. A for sale board was also put up within 2 days. Over all, communication is dismal, customer service is non existent & they appear to be well under staffed. Unfortunately I have had to take to leaving a review here due to no manager willing to make contact to hear my complaint. Maybe this will get their attention.

Pinpoint property is the most unprofessional service I have ever had the displeasure of using. As a prospective buyer there is a certain minimum standard that I would expect: common decency over the phone, updating a buyer if there has been an increased bid, returning phone calls, transparency over bids received and giving current bidders an opportunity to counter offer, not making false assumptions about a buyers funds without proof, having the impression that they are actually trying to sell a property. Unfortunately pinpoint fails on every metric which would be considered the bare minimum expected from an estate agents. From the irreverent Alan as mentioned in recent posts to the invisible manager who seems to have no control over what his staff are doing or is simply complicit in providing a dismal service, avoid this estate agents at all costs.

I purchased a property through Pinpoint North Belfast thanks to their agent Alan Shields. Alan was extremely friendly and professional from the 1st viewing to finally me getting the keys. We had a few hurdles and issues on my side when the client buying my property pulled out a few days before the signing date which meant I no longer had the funds to buy. Alan and Pin point helped me through this hurdle and a few months later my house was sold and Iβm now in the property I wished to buy thanks to Pinpoint. Buying and selling a property can be extremely stressful but thanks to Alan Shields and pin point this was made much easier for myself. Thanks again Alan 5 Stars βοΈ

I Bought my first home through Pinpoint Property. Alan Shields, Alan Martin, and Graeme Farquhar were fantastic through the whole process. Communication was quick and the sales process was completed in a timely manner. Thanks guys!

Expect to be messed around and ignored if propertys are listed by this estate agents. Kept getting told someone will call you back by end of day for a week and a half straight to find out the place was gone by searching on property pal.

We rented through MP and had an awful experience. When it was time to leave the property the landlord tried to deduct our deposit for professional cleaning of an already spotless home. She wanted Β£50 to replace the back gate padlock which had become tarnished due to the rain and tried to blame us for problems that had existed when we moved in. We produced pictures that had been emailed to MP upon us moving in showing the damage was preexisting and that we could not be held responsible. The agents we dealt with had already taken our deposit from the protection scheme stating there had been no dispute and handed the full amount to the landlord. The landlord then refused to hand our money back and the MP agents said the protection scheme was only really there for commercial properties not small rentals. My experience of MP is that they are both liars and crooks who will hand your deposit straight over to the landlord allowing it to be effectively stolen. Avoid at all costs if renting.

Sold my house within 2 weeks which speaks for itself. Richard at Pinpoint Cavehill Road office is most definitely unique within estate agency as he genuinely cares that the client gets an excellent service experience. Both he and his team have been very highly professional and courteous throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend highly enough - thanks again.
