My daughter has been dancing at Leah’s dance academy since the age of 3, she is now 11! The friendships she has are incredible, it’s honestly like a second family. She has gained so much confidence over the years and preformed in front of many people. I cannot praise enough. The teachers are wonderful with all the dancers.
I cannot speak highly enough of this school; it's truly exceptional. After just a year of enrollment, my daughter's has changed remarkably. Her newfound passion for dance and the sense of belonging she's found within this school have been invaluable. What's truly heartening is witnessing her journey from a shy, reserved child to a self-assured, independent individual in just a matter of months. The pride I feel watching her performances and engagements in competitions is indescribable. The warmth and support extended by both the staff and fellow students are exemplary. It's evident in the way older children naturally nurture the younger ones while fostering their own friendships. This school fosters not only skill but also a sense of responsibility and camaraderie among its students.
I can’t recommend this school highly enough! It’s a safe space for children to nurture their independence, build their confidence and find their own personality- they learn about team work and become part of a second family who take care of each other; they form life long friendships and learn good sportsmanship; they learn how to succeed with grace and turn mistakes in to opportunities to learn from, in order to be their best self. And as parents we get to stand back (and if you’re anything like me - ball your eyes out with pride) and watch something amazing happen. My daughter started dancing when she was still in nappies and before she could string a proper sentence together, but she was terrified of performing in front of people for years. We never forced her to dance, it was something she loved to do and chose to do, just in the safety of her dance studio, where she thought no one was watching. You’d never believe it, to watch her now, she’s 10 and last year won the annual ‘show personality’ award for sass, commitment to the performance and letting her love for performing shine through at the annual show!! ❤️ If you’re even a bit curious- get in touch with Leah.
