Emma was so helpful in advising me on different slings and suggesting ones to try. She let me try three different slings during my hire period and was very responsive by email and text to my queries. She also helped me to make sure I bought my sling from a reputable shop to avoid fakes and helped with discount codes. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to buy a baby carrier.
Emma has a wonderful selection of different wraps and slings. Her consultations are thoroughly comprehensive and fun! Meeting with her helped me to prepare to 'wear' my baby. I visited her while still pregnant and she provided excellent follow-up advice once I started wrapping my baby: I had specific challenges and questions. I can chop and change to try new wraps/slings. She has been extremely helpful and supportive as I continue to learn and build my confidence. I heartily recommend both Emma and her well-stocked library!
I had found Emma's details via a Facebook group before I gave birth as I knew I wanted to use her services once I'd had my son. Unfortunately he arrived over the Christmas break so I was worried I wouldn't be able to hire a wrap despite wanting to use it to keep well meaning visitors at bay! I did, however drop Emma a message to see when she would next be available and she set me up with a sling that I could pick up after being discharged from the hospital on Boxing Day! Her visits to Yate weigh in clinic and breastfeeding clinic are also really helpful to make sure I'm still using the sling well as my baby grows.
Two 12 hour flights with a 4 year old? There’s a sling for that! Emma actually has a sling for everything! From the lovely soft ring sling I hired when my daughter was new born, all the way through to preschool. We’ve just been to New Zealand and she fell asleep on the layover - I popped her on my back, put my bag on my front and she slept right through security and boarding. The Lenny preschool could have also carried the 7 yo if we’d needed to!
Emma was great. She taught us so much in an hour and really helped us feel comfortable carrying our very small baby. We now are really enjoying the freedom of moving around the house with her sleeping peacefully on our chest. Emma also is happy to answer follow up questions, and her lending library is really useful so you can try out which slings work for you before buying. Thanks Emma :)
Emma was incredibly helpful and very patient with a complete novice. She was very knowledgeable of the sling I had been given by my sister and knew exactly how to help me. She taught me how to wear it correctly, how to resize it to fit us correctly and how to ensure Lucas is safe. I will definitely be going back in a few months when Lucas is bigger to trial some more slings to find one that is helpful for walking longer distances. Thank you so much Emma, you have made me feel far more comfortable.
Would highly recommend. Emma gave us the confidence to safely and effectively carrying our new baby in a sling just weeks after his birth. We chose to do our session via Zoom given the distance needed to travel and I can honestly say it didn’t detract from the experience. Walking with our boy in a sling has been fantastic and I put it all down to Emma’s coaching.
