   I have been a member of Funky Studios since 2013 and I can honestly say there is no where else that offers the same training. All the staff are so supportive; they are interested in all students health and wellbeing as well as pushing us to improve our skills to allow us to achieve our dreams of going to drama school. The facilities are amazing Katie (Principal) has put a lot of hard work in to making funky run the way it does and that's why the school is so successful. If you want a career in performing and want to go to drama school but need a little guidance - Funky is 100% the answer!

   Funky Studios is the only place for professional training in the east midlands designed to enhance your skills as a performer preparing you for higher education (drama school) and eventually the industry. The staff and students have a universal goal; to train hard and to be the very best they can be. With tutors still in the performing arts industry, the school is always at the top of its game, evolving each year mirroring the changes that the industry face. I spent 5 incredible years under its tuition and have truly transformed as a person and performer with strength I never hoped to possess. It was under the guidance at Funky Studios I successfully auditioned for PPA a superb drama school based in Guildford where I’m studying, vocationally, a BA in Acting for Stage and Screen.
