   As a student at Grantham college I have experienced several things that I do not like one the tutors does nothing and Constantly has a go at me for no reason second I have several rumours going around about me and there is more than just one also I only enjoy my infill course and I only went here due to it being close also I have reported the rumours and the bullying I haveing to put up with and it is everyday I have also experienced name calling harassment and threats with physical abuse I have said this to the tutors and the safe guarding people and also the students that do this make it impossible to learn what I need to and they have not been kicked out also they have taken photos of me and I have asked the college to ask them to take them down due to personal reasons but they are still up and on social media

   I am a student at Grantham College and I just want to say that so far my experience is terrible the reason I think this is because some of the teachers are not very unkind to me they are rude , have goes at me for no reason , they try and tell me what to do outside of college when it has nothing to do with them and I think that they are control freaks. They have Evan taken it as far as blackmailing me and they have also discriminated against me because I have a disability and I’m not they happy with the teachers that have done these things to me and I am going to be making a formal complaint against them. So I don’t recommend that you go here I am not saying the same things will happen to you but there is a chance that it could.

   The college likes to play favourites among the departments. Catering has to fight tooth and nail to get basic equipment repaired or replaced, while the art and media buildings have Apple computers. Catering also has to fight tooth and nail to get a few pathetic electric heaters for the restaurant during winter, because the heating has been broken for years. There are also spots on the top floor of the main building (like catering, for example) where the roof needs repairs because it's letting rainwater through, which is damaging the ceilings. The courses are alright, most of the lecturers are alright. There have also been issues with thefts at the college, either bikes, bags or wallets.

   Bad service, I know the staff get treated badly with no respect don't make enough to pay for bills during the holidays. Even applying for a job they never bother to get back to you. The main boss wastes the college money on stuff they don't need. A joke of a college. Suits the attitude of Grantham perfectly

   Many great courses available. Have had issues with change of tutors mid year but otherwise a great place to learn for all ages. Only downside is the amount of smokers that stand directly out front of the college due to smoking areas being closed forcing them all out there. Makes entering the college or walking past it to get to other sites rather unpleasant and sometimes awkward to get past due to the volume of people

   I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the college. I spent 2 years there. Everyone I met was very friendly and the college has a great atmosphere. I studied Maths and English there, I made great friends for life and passed all my exams first time. The Maths and English teachers are fantastic, they really know their stuff. I use to have one to one private lessons with my Maths tutor. I cannot thank him enough, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be where I am today. So if anyone who is thinking about studying Functional Skills this is the place to be.
