Awful set up. You can spend an hour in the queue to advise you need to pick up a prescription, to have to re-join the back of the queue again as it's never ready. Why can you not create a computerised log in system where people sign in in the store, an advised timescale is provided and people can come back and queue to pick up when it's their timeslot/prescription is ready. The staff however are generally lovely and helpful but the system is terrible.

I visited to pick up three prescriptions today that had been sent to you at least four days ago …. I was told that I needed to comeback as they were not ready …. I returned to queue yet again to collect and discovered it was not complete and a mistake had been made and an item not there. I returned to the counter to be greeted by a staff member with a very loud voice telling me to go back to the end of the queue as I had left the counter . I responded that I was not queuing yet again as I had now wasted 2 hours she then in the loudest voice possible which I’m sure probably the whole store could hear … you have your controlled drug… your tablets and big boxes of stuff. This made me feel like I was a queue jumper and a nuisance and an inconvenience. I had to show her the barcode that we had received and then miraculously she was able to find the prescription which had not been printed. The error was clearly with your staff member . I strongly suggest that that staff member needs retraining and additional training on customer care and customer privacy. Are you even aware of this behaviour I wonder. I would appreciate a response

Really friendly and helpful staff (Anna was so lovely and gave me great recommendations on cough medicine for my sick husband ) . Sometimes you have to wait a while but that's purely because they are so busy and seems like not enough staff to meet the demand of customers.

Although there previously was always a long queue with new staff takenonthis has been much improved and I was seen promptly. The member of staff was very helpful and polite when there was a misunderstanding over my husband's prescription when the Dr's sent 3 issues which we needed to activate and his meds were ready within 30 minutes rather than the normal 48 hours.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, always a queue, 30 minutes or more, only to be told it’s not ready, come back in 30 minutes to an hour, then you have to queue up again, normally another 30 or longer. All the while these are for prescriptions that have been sent 24 hours or more prior. Text service rubbish. Doesn’t matter if the doctor says they’ll make a note on it so it will be ready for 6pm - for a very poorly 4 year old who needed an inhaler, still had to wait 2 hours in total in the store. This is the last time I will queue for this place, going to change my pharmacy first thing tomorrow!

Ordered My epilepsy tablets in the chemist and couple months back because I recive them every two months they are on repeat, Yesterday when i need more tablets and I am expecting my tablets to be ready head to the pharmacy to get them fully expecting them to be ordered and be ready for me to pick up. This is normally what happens when I get my tablets every two months. I am now this morning having to ring the doctors to try sort this problem that should not be happening because someone has not ordered them at the pharmcy which to me is totally discusting I have checked my NHS acount all of the details were correct for them to of meant to be ordered in.

Email to tescos after my experience today Hello I like to make a formal complaint regarding one of your pharmacist please. The incident happened at Tescos 2 Woolwell Cres, Plymouth PL6 7RF I was waiting to be served for over 5 minutes with no body else in the que. The pharmacy had no other awaiting customers. After standing there for a significant time. I went to the other end of the counter so somebody could see me. Not on the opposite side just the other end of the counter. The pharmacist saw me but still carried on chatting and working. I waited a further 3 mins before she came over. I asked for an over the counter medication and she mutterd under her breath and walked away, I was left in limbo as what was happening. So I stood there for a further 3 minutes then she shouted at me at told me to go to the other end of the counter. I asked her not to speak to me like that. Then a colleague came out after a further 3 mins and finally served me. I said to her that I did not appreciate being spoken to in that manner. And the pharmacist has a bad attitude. But she said that the pharmacist didn't have an attitude problem, i said i was very unhappy and upset, she said standing at the other end of the counter may cause a que. But i was the only one here and only went to the other counter as i was being ignored and that nobody had noticed me. Not once did I raise my voice or asked for any assistance I just stood there patiently untill I was served. I just simply thanked her and walked away. It was a awefull experience. Truly awefull. I was upset and shocked by the manner I was spoken to and the flippant response to my complaint. I never complain but feel this needs to be addressed before she upsets someone else. I went in to do my weekly shop which normally equates to over £140 but i left and went to Morrisons i will never use this store again. I would like you to investigate this and seriously speak to your pharmacist about customer service. I can only imagine you would have had other complaints about this pharmacist If you check your CCTV this was around 1230pm Sunday the 16th 2022. Thankyou Tony McCarthy.

Avoid coming here on weekends if possible. Preferably avoid altogether. You will likely be kept waiting for a long time and doesn't seem to matter how many staff they have at hand.

Asked to return in 20-30 minutes to collect prescription despite text message saying it’s ready. Then told to join the end of a long queue for a second time. New large counter built, but usually still only one Staff serving at counter.
