Love this place! Such a cool, funky hidden gem. Very clean and tidy with great decor. Definitely our new favourite place to go in Plymouth. Franz, the owner, made us feel very welcome
We travelled from Derbyshire to see family, and as a couple who both love soul music, we thought we would visit this bar. We met Franz the owner; as we were travelling back the following day we only stayed for an hour. A fabulous place for soul music lovers. The walls reveal a history from Franz' past . His passion for soul music and pride in his bar is clearly evident. We hope the bar goes from strength to strength. We will revisit when we visit Plymouth in the future. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

What an amazing place!Franz you and your mum must be proud what you achieved.And the doorman is so polite and very helpful I felt safe.The best bar in Plymouth and nobody can beat that!I could give you all the stars from the sky five is not enough!So cosy,clean and just beautiful I felt like I am at home and didn’t want to leave!Well done guys and I definitely will be back with more friends every time I go out I will be there for drink or two!The worst thing was to find out that you have this little gem from 2019 and I didn’t know nothing about it until 2023!Like I told you yesterday if you could have some nibbles I will be living there from Friday to Sunday.See you soon!
Always a great night at club 27. Franz is very welcoming to everyone and plays some awesome tunes! If I am out, I always pop in for a few drinks...
The polite and courteous doorman piqued my curiosity as I smoked outside (while visiting another venue),so had to investigate.... A simple and stylish interior enriched with unexpected details,the friendly,knowledgeable and charming barman recommended we had a strawberry and black pepper gin,the owner was interesting and clearly inspired as reflected in every detail. A memorable evening .
