Had to put 1 star as unable to post a zero. Rang for a car was told none available as they were all on school runs. As my journey was not time sensitive I asked when one would be available, only to be told they all finish after school runs. However their ad says they have a 24 hr service!! Is that 24hrs a week, a month, a year.....???
Always fantastic service from Chris Mellor so kind and helps myself and parents in and out the taxi because we all suffer with disabilities 100/100 for this driver nothing is no trouble to him.
Managed to talk to someone and order a taxi when the others couldn't
Tried to use their taxis over other firms but called 5 or 6 times, two or three seperate occasions and can never get through to anyone on the phones
After emailing abacus taxi with concerns my daughter of 16yr old is using taxis. I went on to book the first one from colledge which didn't turn up, they explained they had the wrong address for colledge so fair enough. Booked again today on her first day starting a job and it didn't turn up, tryed to call 6 times no answer so got dg taxis to pick her up in 4 mins so she made it to work.rung to ask abacus why and they tryed to say they had the wrong address AGAIN it was from our home so address correct.... please if you want a reliable taxi please don't consider this one our daughters experience of taxis on her own has been shocking! Get a grip abacus, you may not need the work now but when you do it won't be there.

Utterly disappointed and disgusted. Would give 0 to be honest. The person on the phone said 10 to 15 minutes. Waited with my heavily pregnant wife for 17 mins... called them back and they said 10 to 15 minutes more, even though I mentioned that she is pregnant. Cancelled them. The other taxi company took 3 minutes to come. Never ever will use them again.
