I can't say enough good things about my recent visit to 'the gun room'. As someone with little to no prior knowledge about air rifles or shooting, I was a bit apprehensive, but the staff, and in particular a gentleman named Martin, were absolutely fantastic. Martin was incredibly helpful and patient. He took the time to explain the various technical aspects of the sport and the specifics of different rifles without ever making me feel rushed or foolish. The service went above and beyond when he offered me a trial of two different rifles on their on-site range. This hands-on experience was invaluable and helped me find a rifle that truly felt right for me. The entire team made me feel so welcome, and it was clear they couldn't do enough to help. After receiving such amazing service, I won't be purchasing my equipment or supplies from anywhere else. 'The gun room' has earned a customer for life, and I highly recommend them to anyone, regardless of their experience level.

Excellent service from the gun room! Especially Martin who spent weeks helping me find the perfect first shotgun and teaching me how to maintain my new gun. The whole team really showed that they genuinely care about customer service and made me feel like a VIP through the whole process, will definitely be back for more products and advice!
We had a good time shooting for an hour with the familiy, shame that it was raining so we couldn't use the outside range, would gladly come back another time to shoot again and go outside aswell.
Nice selection of products but very poor customer service. I visited with a view to buy a coat, but at no point did anyone ask whether I required assistance despite there being several staff available. I have emailed the store but received no response. I won't be visiting again.

I was blown away - pun intended - with this store and the amazing range of all-weather clothing. Even my wife fancied getting a new Barbour coat! I'm not a big fan of guns, but there was a nice range of rifles and shotguns. Having never looked down the barrel of a gun, I took at shot - sorry, another terrible pun - of one on my camera phone.
I can not recommend The Gun Room Ivybridge highly enough. The service the members of staff provide at the gun room is simply excellent! On every visit I am greeted by a friendly hello and a genuine smile, not to mention a plethora of specialist knowledge across the ranges of products they carry and can supply. And if they don't have it, they can almost certainly get what you need!
