   THIS COMPANY STEALS YOUR MONEY! We had to prepay in CASH (relatives live in the UK) for a ride from Gatwick Airport to Long Eaton. The driver was not there to pick us up. I rang the company they said he was about 15 minutes away. We waited 30 minutes before calling again, driver said he couldn’t find a place to park. After several phone calls the driver wanted us to find him! The police at the airport were kind enough to hang out with us while we waited. They explained that a good company would be at the gate with a name sign so we could find our ride and pointed out the few dozen other companies doing just that. After waiting over an hour and several worthless phone calls we called to tell them we would wait no longer and hired the airport taxi to drive us the 3 hours to our destination. It cost double what we already paid. So it cost us 640 pounds ($864 US dollars) for a ride to our destination. When I reached out the next day to ask for a refund I was told Kara is the manager that makes the decision and she would be in at 4 pm so I called back and was told she left at 2:30pm and back on Monday morning! When I finally spoke to her she said they don’t do refunds and the driver sent a picture of himself at the airport but couldn’t find us because he didn’t know what we looked like and if we wanted him to stand there with a sign we should have requested it! As it turns out the photo he sent of himself was after we hired the other taxi and left the airport. I contacted the licensing authorities but they don’t handle matters like this and we would have to take the company to court! This company knows that someone visiting from another country is not going to stay for court so there are no repercussions for them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SERVICES THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICE! After speaking to other taxi drivers we found out they are buying out the other companies and operating under other names. So be careful they are more than happy to take your money and leave you stranded knowing they can get away with it because there are no safety measures in place for visitors! Of course there are more details but too many for one post.

   Tonight was my first experience with this company and NEVER again!!! Finished work this morning and my colleague called a taxi from this firm she asked for a quote and they gave her one for £18 from Long Eaton to Aspley, BARGAIN (I thought considering it was the weekend) got in the cab and paid my fare upfront as I was asked to do when the taxi was booked. Only the driver tried to drop me off at the wrong address telling me this was the address that was booked in when I know for certain it wasn’t as I was there when my colleague booked the it. I was then asked if I gave a postcode granted no a postcode wasn’t given nor was a postcode asked for (Which they have to ask for before even booking) then tried to charge me extra to correct THEIR mistake. Never booking with these again. The taxi driver was rude from the start. Don’t need this after a long day and night of work when I just want to get home to my child. Would not recommend!!!

   Left my 80 year old Grandma in the cold outside Aldi for 35 minutes. She always rings ahead of time to ensure that the taxi is ready for when she has finished her shopping. Rang 3 times to be told they’d be with her in 4 minutes every time but proceeded to wait for 35 minutes. Poor service, if you’re running late, be honest and let people wait in the warm at the very least.

   Would be no stars after my nan was walking through long Eaton after playing sticky’s in the bell in my nan who has arthritis in her hip and knee toppled over and because of this the driver refused to give her a lift home. Absolutely disgraceful

   Travel to airport was fine. But on return I told them 8:15am pick up (knowing my flight will land at 7:50 and gave them the flight number) I was out with my bag and waiting at 8:00am expecting them to turn up at 8:15, but I didn’t get the dispatch text until 8:17! and the taxi was coming from Long Eaton (20 mins away). Another Text to say driver was here at 8:35, came outside and waited 5 mins but no sign of him, rang the driver and told him I was at the rapid drop area (standard area for EMA) and then he headed over from whatever wrong area he was waiting at. Finally got picked up at 8:40 after a 40 min total wait. Next time I’ll tell them to arrive 15 mins before my flight is due to land, I recommend you all do the same, the rapid drop off area has a 15 min waiting allowance anyway, so better to keep the driver waiting, rather than you waiting.

   Booked online a week in advance for an airport run from sandiacre to ema with a pick up time of 4:30am. Communication by text was 1st class from booking to notifying driver was waiting at our home for us. Car was clean inside and out. Driver was very polite.. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

   Booked a taxi for the airport. It was 23 minutes late despite being booked for 4am so no reason for it to be so delayed. When I called to check if it was coming, twice, I was told the driver was minutes away. This was clearly not true. Appalling service. No apology from the driver. DO NOT use if you need to be somewhere on time, particularly on time.
