   Called in to get Quote for a cruise for 3 families. Obviously a lot of work involved so I was told I would be contacted after the weekend with a Quote. They never got back to me. Three weeks later I called in again and was speaking to a different salesperson, there was no record of me being there. I gave the same details and again I was told they would be in contacted the next day. That was a week ago and I’m still waiting. Disappointed as the staff seemed very pleasant.

   My fiancé booked us a surprise trip to Rome. He was nervous about the hotel but was given loads of impressive pictures and assured that they would never send anyone to a hotel that they wouldn't be happy to stay in themselves. We arrived after 9pm at night and we're horrified by the state of the hotel (that was supposed to be 4⭐). I've genuinely stayed in nicer hostels. The furnishings were beyond tired, beat up, rusty and caked in dust. There was damp in the corners of the room. As we had 'checked in' Hays offered no advice or assistance (not sure how we were supposed to see the room without checking in, or contact them at 9pm from another country). We ended up paying out of pocket for additional accommodation and they have been no help since. This doesn't even include the fact that we had to pay for our seat allocation on the plane and city tax (twice!) despite the assurance that 'all taxes are paid' (which worked out to over £150 additional excluding the second hotel room). We are completely dumbfounded by the customer service from a well established travel agent. We will never be using them again.

   Stopped in to enquire about a holiday next year, to which I was told I would receive an email with an itinerary and pricing. Never received an email, over a week later, ended up having to go to another company to book.

   Passing the Ballymena branch a number of days each week I was always impressed with all the great offers on display but the shop was always pretty busy so I eventually decided to give them a call to ease their pressure and afford them time to research my holiday plans. On ringing the branch I got a less than helpful gentleman with a very droll attitude. Taking my details and request, told me he would get back to me. Needless to say, he never bothered. Now going on for 6 weeks or more, I've gave up on Hays and went elsewhere. Being a manager of a multinational company myself, the service I received would neither be acceptable or tolerated and he certainly be having a freshers course in customer service and relationship.

   Made an effort to drive into Ballymena to try and book a holiday. Travel agents was quite busy,so I waited my turn to speak with an agent. Met a girl Kelly who said she was too busy to help me and would take details of all my needs and preferences and destination and email in a few days with some details to look through. Still waiting 2 weeks later,absolutely useless travel agents, a total waste of my time. They are not one bit interested.
