   I have been using this pharmacy for years and they have usually been excellent in every way, especially when the server is a senior member of staff. Never a problem. Today I was trying to buy some Dry Cough Robitussin (contains Dextromethorphan) for my wife and I as we both - her particularly- occasionally suffer from a dry hacking cough at night. Medical consultation has shown this to be a common nighttime problem and we have no permanent medical issue. I was rather curtly grilled by a teenage girl who asked me when I last used it. I couldn’t remember so the girl said she could not sell it to me. That’s her right to protect people who know no better but I’m 78 years old and I come from a long line medical family and doctors have recommended we use this product for this type of cough - the whole affair was embarrassing as I was holding up a line of people so I told her to forget it and I would buy it elsewhere.Now I will have to shop elsewhere or tip-toe in to the shop to see who is on pharmacy duty! Poor show Boots - it’s never in my life happened before.

   Just had the best customer service I've had anywhere in a long time from a lovely girl called Jess. I have mobility issues and due to the poor access from front door to the pharmacy counter and the side door to the front she couldn't have been more helpful. She brought me items I was looking for and I can't praise her enough !! ☺️

   6 days 4 phone calls and 3 trips into this place to collect a prescription!! They tell you it's ready when it's not then when you call in for it they don't have the right prescription for collects never will I use them again!!!

   I was next in the queue and the lady serving completely ignored me. She was helping a customer choose something who shortly after went over to pay for it at the till, the customer then leaves and I was standing right at the desk. Then some guy comes behind me and she serves him instead. I don't like giving bad reviews but I was shocked by the total rudeness.

   I am closest to a smaller branch of Boots and always find staff to be helpful and can mostly get what I need. If not I go to a larger Boots in town. I'm very happy with what my local branch supplies.

   On Friday I realised one of my regular medications had run out ordered from GP but had to go to Boots to see if I could borrow a few for weekend was questioned if I had lost 3tablets which was all I needed .On numberous occasions during my visit was told the last time I collected my prescription.Ifelt quite demoralised as if I was begging for something I wasn't entitled to .At this hard time life is hard enough without added problems .A very disgruntled customer.
