   This spar used to be the community shop , employed local staff and now nine work there and the prices are extortionate especially considering the other local shop sells same items many are 50o to a pound cheaper. I went in the other night and left without purchasing but the rudeness of the grammar behind the counter basically treating me like a criminal and questioning me if I wanted to buy anything in a very unfriendly manner like I had been stealing. Made me feel uncomfortable and I have been using the shop spar through the ages from when it was a coop to Geoff Selleck turning it into a VG and then the spar , always friendly and now not so and it was always busy but not now! Like I said the shop at the end by the pharmacy is cheaper

   Staff are very friendly pleasant to visit daily and feel very welcomed with great range of products including American sweets drinks and big variety on many other things hot to cold food and frozen won’t find much better competition for choice around this area reasonable pricing could be a little better on various items but the wide rang of choice of product is a big plus guri a worker there is very helpful always out going the extra mile to fulfil satisfiable shopping experience and always friendly willing for any issues to resolve and sufficiently a credit to the company 10/10 customer service skills

   A well-stocked local shop. When we lived in Filton, we often popped in there. Praise also goes to the post office located in the shop. We used their services a few times and were very satisfied. :)

   Steer well clear overpriced goods and can not even use basic manners when serving no please or thank you or even a offering of a bag and continually talking to each whilst serving myself travel a little further up filton avenue

   Prices are a mixed bag. Some items have a decent price, some items are overpriced (drinks and cooking ingredients are particularly bad for this). Sometimes the price tags are different from what you actually pay at the counter, and some items have odd price choices (like a smaller drink bottle being more expensive than a larger bottle). There's an occasional discount on items near their expiration date. Post office section is terrible, and that's the reason I'm giving this place two stars (would've been three or four without it). The queue takes a very long time. For both times that I had to deal with them, the staff member working on this section gave me incorrect information regarding stamps and tracking, causing me a lot of stress and frustration for what should've been a simple matter. In essence, decent shop, but let down by unhelpful post office staff and price issues.

   The shop is very nice but there only one worker to in counter so it is very busy and you have to wait 2-8 minute to buy things .and one day i basically put the things back because of the queee
