   Really disappointed and they wasted my time. I have been paying my taxes and my Experian score is 981 out of 999. They dropped my case because of this untrained staff member called Jasmine Kennedy who Never replied to me politely any time I called and insisted that email instead even though i explained i don't feel comfortable. Just because I didn't have a receipt for a small cash deposit she talked to me like i was a fraud. Feel Sorry for simon Hawkins who got jasmine there to loose valuable customers. In the end I got my mortgage done and bought my house from other solicitors.

   Having used Chartahouse on multiple occasions, (selling and buying over the past 8 years), I can honestly say they are a great company. Offering a professional, thorough service throughout the sale or purchase process. The team are all dedicated and really helpful, when you speak to them they genuinely listen and are always looking to help. I contacted them regularly via email and phone, and always found them to be proactive and efficient with a fast response. The pricing is also incredibly competitive, you may be able find cheaper (somewhere online) and there are many far more expensive! However you will struggle to find a better level of service. I will be using them going forward for any future purchase or sale of property, as have a great trust, and relationship with them. I really feel they had my interest at the core of what they did, especially during some very stressful mommets! They never failed me. In a world full of cowboys and online only conveyancers, that may have a good website, and look like a good option, I would strongly recommend Chartahouse over any of them! Anyone looking for a professional, friendly, diligent and experienced conveyancing Service, will not be disappointed using Chartahouse.

   I will start this review on a positive, I’m sure Chartahouse Conveyancing Services are competent in some areas but not if you are a first time buyer. We were recommended Chartahouse Conveyancing Services from a mortgage advisor (which I have now advised was not a good recommendation), all of our information was sent over from them and we began the process. We didn’t have any contact from them, just simply an email to set up on digital move portal. We did all the relevant steps on the portal and all seemed to be moving forward, up to a point… This is when I noticed one of Chartahouse’s biggest flaws – Communication. There was a step which we hadn’t completed and as first time buyers the process was all new to us, after looking back this step was left untouched for over a month. Given that this is not Chartahouse’s duty, but an email to push us along or advise of the next steps would have been appreciated. When getting to the later stages of the purchase there were some issues with our deposit being drawn from our LISA account, Simon Hawkins who was the lead on our purchase was very poor with dealing with this and had a very ‘uncaring’ attitude. After much work the issue was resolved, it turned out it was a different process than he was used to so therefore dismissed it almost instantly and wasn’t willing to work together and help us figure it out. This issue really set the tone for the end of our dealings with Chartahouse Conveyancing Services, trying to contact the firm regarding our purchase was sometimes impossible, on one occasion I emailed twice, left one message and attempted calling 22 times but got no further than the ‘gatekeepers’ merely for an update. Overall the main issue with Chartahouse is their lack of communication skills and attitude towards customers, I completely understand firms are busy but if you are so busy that you can’t communicate well and supply good customer services don’t take on the work and accept customer’s hard earned money.
