   I recently used Roper James Solicitors for a property sale. Karen was professional throughout the process and clearly knowledgeable, although at times she was difficult to get hold of, which caused some delays. Her assistant, Simon, unfortunately appeared to lack the experience or confidence to handle certain matters effectively, which was at times frustrating. Ultimately, the sale was completed successfully and the solicitors fulfilled their role. However, if you’re looking for a firm that will push through a sale quickly or provide highly responsive communication, this may not be the right choice. On the positive side, their fees are very reasonable.

   I can highly recommend the staff at Roper James Solicitors in Saltash after they did the conveyancing on my late parents home. From the very start they were sympathetic after learning this was the family home where I had grown up and it held many memories over the years. Karen Dyer and Michelle Stevens were brilliant from day one right through to the end and everyone at Roper James was extremely helpful throughout the process. Communication was excellent and I was kept informed at every step, any questions and queries I had were answered and explained thoroughly in a respectful manner. I would definitely use Roper James again for their friendly and professional service.

   We have found Melanie Cotterill marvellous to deal with. She married friendliness with professional acumen to negotiate the path through probate with speed and accuracy. We therefore decided to use Roper James for conveyancing too and Sharon, acting on behalf of Martyn communicated well with the various parties involved to reach a successful conclusion even though the other solicitors seemed to be masters of prevarication. Melanie had also been a great help to our dear friend and put her mind at ease on a number of occasions. We are very appreciative and can recommend the firm wholeheartedly. Alan and Wendy.

   It gives me immense pleasure to provide this review in two areas- Probate and Property conveyancing from Ruperb James ( RJ). My Mother passed away Nov 2020 so firstly, RJ performed a highly professional probate service from within the Saltash office. I subsequently, decided to retain RJ's conveyancing services. However, coming from Hampshire where i had recently sold a property i was worried service quality and execution of the task would incur the same problems previously experienced in Hampshire to secure the sale. No such Worries and throughout could not be more grateful for the competence, communication and execution of the task delivered by Tammi Hingston within the Saltash/Ivybridge office. Tip Top absolutely superb! A totally different experience on all fronts leaving me in no doubt the property sale was indeed safe in her hands.
