Just went to the swindon town center store, after calling up to reserve an Xbox on the phone I've travelled into Swindon to collect the Xbox and the man had sold it to somebody else. The worker couldn't care less about it and walked off on the phone.
Wouldn't take anything to these guys took a mobile phone in to put on buy back as needed to pay to have some work done on my car to get it through an MOT when I went back 5 days later they handed my phone back to me with another phone charger what wasn't the one that came with the phone so I explain that they have given me another charger for the phone the guy who served me got quite funny when I said if they didn't give me my correct charger back they will have to replace it with a brand new original one he called me an idiot and said if I didn't leave the store he would call the police on me now I'm in the process of taking them to court to get the money back I had to pay to get a new charger
Bought my hi fi here took 6 weeks to complete the different components I wanted but staff superb and kept amplifier I wanted out back which was my last bit and called me to say they had it great prices
Sold me a 2nd hand controller for ps4 only to find out when I get back to London it has stick drift way told I would need to go back to Swindon to change 150 mile trip simple don't sell faulty goods
First of all since it's a pawn shop you can't expect top price, they need to make profit. So I walked in not having high expectations. I had a S21 Ultra 5G brand new, never been turned on, with the plastic wrap on it. Don't need the phone so I asked how much I can get for it. It's a £1200 phone in pretty much any store. So I got an offer of £300. I walked out laughing and entertained.
Some staff are friendly and helpful, some are not helpful at all. Sold my iPad on buy back, when I got it back I had no battery and someone had been messing with it, not impressed!
Great customer service. Accept most items as long as they work and are not damaged. Test thoroughly to try and accept items you want to sell pay cash on the day you sell (unlike CeX). Have bought goods from there which work well and have stood the test of time. Highly recommend this store. Staff also knowledgeable.
