Splendid school, Janet is a lovely woman so profound and well educated and has rightfully earned and demands the respect of the boys at the legendary black and yellow. They are the best school in Ireland. Continued rugby success and academic achievements many other schools could only dream of sending many to Cambridge and Oxford each year. Being located right in the heart of Belfast also allows the boy to flourish and make connections to major firms within the country. Big UP RBAI what a splendid school. They are then envy of all. RBAI RBAI RBAI.

Did not enjoy my time here. Bullying was swept under the rug. Many teachers (with a few notable exceptions) seemed to have an extreme power complex. The principal seemed to believe she was the second coming of Christ, despite being one of the rudest most arrogant people Iβve ever had the displeasure of meeting. The way she treated both staff and pupils was honestly despicable. Spending time at this school severely damaged many pupils mental health, and the systems they have in place to combat this are inadequate, in many cases making pupils worse off. Unless you play rugby in the top team, or some other sport at an extremely high level, or achieve extraordinary academic feats, the school wants nothing to do with you. You will be shown little or no support, hence why the exams results for Inst are usually relatively poor in comparison to other schools of itβs βcalibreβ. One positive I will say is that the history and RE departments were top notch. Teachers and staff were very supportive and seemed to understand the short comings of the rest of the school, and worked on being different.

Looks definitely like an elite school from touristsβ view. The students looked dashing and confident in their outfits. We wondered if the lawn would be full of students in the summer. When we were young, we all complained that the school has too much control, but when we grow up, we appreciate its reputation. As for homework, is there any place in the world that has more homework than Asian schools? Why there's no perfect score: Schools always need to listen to students more, more, and more.

Honestly its a good school at its core but some things really drag it down and leave some people to have the really exaggerated reviews of how bad it is. Overall i thoroughly enjoyed my time here despite having some problems along the way

Reading the horror stories of these students, it sounds like the school needs to listen to the students and parents more. Much love to all of the students and parents- guy from across the Atlantic

Wonderful school. Turns out rounded, confident, loyal and diverse young men. It celebrates participating as much as academic success. Encouraging from day 1. Contrasts with school my other son attended that prides itself on academic success but killed them with homework and were generally critical not supportive and didn't get better results at all. Gives them a pride in themselves and the school and pastorally is fabulous.

This school is for masochists only, don't go if you value your freedom of expression or social life. Most of the teachers seem to be incapable of teaching their given subject or as a friend of mine stated "One day you might get good enough at the subject that the teachers will actually teach you it." Every club in this schools is underfunded except the Rugby Club which is massively ovefunded and their achievements are more valued then the achievements of the rest of the school. However though, there are some good points, the history department has some good teachers, Ms. Parks, one of the chemistry teachers, is the nicest teacher you will meet and the school choir has one of the most insane and wonderful conductors. Go to a better school if you want to have a social life.
