   From the outset, Robert at the Drone pilot academy was very helpful. He was very efficient with replies to my emails, answering questions and providing information on what was required to begin the process for the GVC course. On arrival to the academy Robert had everything in place and to put me at ease for the course, going over all details for flying and what is needed to get through the GVC. From starting on the simulator to flying first time and providing tips and help to ensure everything was smooth and controlled, also advice to gain knowledge for the course ahead. On the day of the course again Robert put me at ease with chat about my own flying and how i found the modules for the course. I would highly recommend the Drone pilot academy if you are either beginning as a novice or going for the GVC to help you with all your needs.

   If you want to start your own drone business, this is a great course which you can learn at your own pace. Multiple mock theory tests are included. Robert from Drone Pilot Academy is always there to help you along the way and answer any questions you may have. Robert also made me feel at ease during the Practical Flight Assessment.

   I recently completed my GVC Drone License Course with Robert at Drone Pilot Training Academy and the experience was brilliant. The company I work for, GEDA Construction require a drone flyer for capturing progress on their construction projects, so I made contact with Robert to discuss the course. Over the 6 months Robert was great when it came to queries and answering anything I was unsure of. He showed me how to run maintenance checks to ensure safety, giving me confidence in how to check my drone for both pre and post flights, as I found it a little daunting. He was also great at explaining ways to operate the drone and I learned a few tips and tricks from him along the way. The theory for the GVC License is quite intense, requiring a lot of revision. Thankfully if anything was too hard to understand or if I was overwhelmed, Robert was always happy to run over the topic with me. I am proud to say I now hold my GVC License and would like to give special thanks to Robert for his guidance along the way.

   I completely my CAA certification with Robert this year. I went expecting to be tested and quizzed and of course Robert undertook this part of the assessment with up most professionalism. What I wasn't expecting was how much Robert used the time to help teach us and delelop our skills. I was amazed at how much my flying would improve as part of a certification. Robert gave us his undivided attention and was always on hand to offer hints and tips. Robert was an impeccable host and I honestly wouldn't consider going anywhere else for this type of training and certification.

   Completed my PfCO with Robert before Christmas. Very professional and an expert in his field. He was always on hand during the online training with any questions I had, and checked in on me now and then to see how I was progressing. The flight test day I wasn't sure what to expect but Robert explained everything well and luckily we got a cold but sunny day for it. Although you're there for a serious test, Robert takes you through everything smoothly and it's completely relaxed with a bit of craic too. Even though I've been a drone hobbyist for a few year already, the drone simulator was very useful. It mimics certain conditions which i hadn't experienced yet that could be met in the future. After passing the tests I sent away for my PfCO to the CAA. Again Robert checked in during this process making sure all was well. It took the CAA about 9 days in total so a really quick turnaround. I highly recommend Robert and would suggest people to support local businesses. You 100% won't regret it.

   I have just completed my Pfco with Robert and 3iC. Upon meeting Robert at the Ivanhoe Hotel I was immediately put at ease with his friendly and professional manner. After finishing (and passing!) the theory section we moved the short distance to his farm to carry out the practical assessment. Throughout the day Robert was easy going and very helpful, at no point did I feel rushed or under pressure. I am a wheelchair user and was accommodated at every turn from my initial enquires, right through to sending my documents off to the CAA. Big thanks to Robert Dobbin of Drone Pilot Training Academy and to 3iC who went above and beyond at every step
