   When Belfast Met was called Bifhe, they had good teachers/tutors but the admin was always chaotic & shambolic. One might expect an improvement over time, however the opposite is true. Their admin department is worse than ever, an absolute shambles. It's important to note, they do have good staff, I spoke on the telephone with a man who was very kind, considerate & helpful, however, one good staff member being helpful & professional in a shambles of an operation is akin to someone throwing a live preserver to someone being sucked into a whirlpool. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of enrolling at Belfast Met to think about alternatives if available. Belfast Met should be a last resort.

   I started the Pathfinder course in September 2024, and I loved it. I was there every day or near enough every day (as I take sick quite a lot). The staff and everyone were lovely and genuinely cared for you. However, I have only been there one day this year as I haven't been well both physically and mentally and I have been in hospital quite a few times this year, and I have had hospital appointments as well so a few months ago my tutor had an over the phone meeting with my mum and told her that I wasn't allowed back the next academic year to complete or restart the course because I didn't complete this academic year. The staff in this college have really shown their true colours they want you to think they genuinely care about you but they don't it's only a job to them

   I had a very frustrating experience with Belfast Met College. Their website was completely dysfunctional and would not allow me to register for a course I was very keen to take. Despite trying multiple times before the deadline, I was unable to proceed because of the technical issues on their site. When I contacted the student portal for help, they were unresponsive and provided no real solution. I was simply told that I hadn’t registered on time—even though the issue was clearly with their own systems. The lack of support and accountability was extremely disappointing, and no one took responsibility for resolving the problem or finding an alternative solution. If you’re considering registering for courses with Belfast Met, I would strongly advise caution. Their technical infrastructure and support services seem unreliable, and you might miss out on important opportunities due to their inefficiencies.

   Very bad teaching , my English teacher yells and screams at students in class in front of other students zero understanding from tutor. Small group of students attended but less students showing up each week, I'll not be returning just as well I didn't pay for course as it was a free course

   Great college for the two years I attended the Level 3 course in IT, facilities are usually all you need in a place like this, food is alright, not great. But I'd suggest this to friends if I had the chance to.

   I was told my part time course started today, when I arrived the college and the lady at the reception told me the class is cancelled for tonight... Would be nice if the college sent me a text or email to let me know...
