   A-plan was good, Howden is not, always went to Aplan in the past for taxi insurance, this time rang for a normal car insurance quote 5 working days ago, Darren said he’d call me back shortly with prices. Received no callback and no quote, called today, Darren not available, spoke to a colleague. Not able to discuss quotes was asked what’s my best price so far, £250+ more expensive. Terrible customer service.

   I got their flyer through the post, promising the world in insurance, I shouldn't have botherered. Spent ages going through my vehicle requirements & details and received no price and no return calls, despite me chasing thus wasting yet more of my time. Forget them. This is a genuine review from a genuine potential customer that was genuinely let down by poor service from A-Plan!

   Really worthwhile using A plan to get an insurance that is tailored to my needs rather than the box ticking used online. Delighted with the attention to detail and understanding my requirements. They got it spot on first-time. Will be giving A plan the opportunity to quote on all my insurance needs in the future. Big bonus is that the staff aren't call centre operatives who are limited by the box ticking most online companies use. Very personal approach.

   Expensive and uncompetitive, have blocked their number so they stop calling me to waste my time going through endless questions in order to offer quotes 2.5% more than my renewal quote. As a business model they will be going the way of the dinosaurs before too long and good riddance.
