Been contacted they are demanding £559 for getting my married tax allowance. They did nothing but used my details to log on to HMRC and register as a agent. HMRC sends them all your tax info. I sorted my own tax relief after a email saying they needed more information to proceed. Keep well away there crooks.
48% commission for doing something that takes 5 mins to do yourself on the HMRC website. Under no circumstances is this proportionate to the service provided. No better than a scam, especially when elderly people are concerned. Avoid and ask a family member to act on your behalf direct with HMRC.
Recieved a dodgy text message with someone else's name requiring a online authentication????? Common sence people this is fraudulent activity. Phomed number they want your name address post code etc why wpuld anyone give these SCAM ARTISTS anh information. Ignore delete report
1 star is too many! Contacted out of the blue claiming that since I contacted them in 2022 they had fought hard using a barrister who featured in the Post Office scandal to negotiate a Marriage allowance refund for me. Their texts and emails aways arrive PM on Friday. I've never asked them to represent me verbally, on line or in writing. I used their complaints email and received a message saying my claim had ben removed from their system. This is a claim that never existed in the first place. On 19/10 I received a text and email confirming my M A refund again. So I've complained again and now received an email apologising for their system error. Nobody ever identifies themselves. They are rogue traders - how can they be stopped

Hi all, Mr Lee Paul Mellor is the Director of this company, he has been a director of no less than 18 companies. Hidenda Tax was formed in December ‘20 , Karen Roberts McLanachan has a 5 star review from 4 years ago, which is obviously untrue, He has recently changed his business address, although one of his companies 9293 Ltd is registered at this address, no law against any of this but an Honest Helpful company adopt Good Working Practices to ensure follow on business. I have reported this company to HMRC, Trading Standards and Action for Fraud, he has submitted a 64 -8 form on our behalf to HMRC obviously falsified some of the details that I did not supply, there was a payment, confirmed by HMRC and later Hidenda which should have come to my wife, but there has been no payment. They state that Hidenda do not issue cheques for payment and provides a click link which will take you to a link in order to put your Bank Details details, “Really” after all the trouble we have endured following the first click into his business. I have suggested that the payment be made Via a Bankers Draught Like yourselves I started the process, because it advertised Free No Obligation, trust me none of you would have signed the T&Cs or the Contract, if you provided a signature this has been Cut and Pasted onto these T&Cs and Contract. It is now six months since I started this nightmare, but I am not finished, contact Trading Standards, Citizens Advice, Contact the HMRC have Hidenda removed as Agents from your account, and contact Action for Fraud,
What a scam!! Signed up for a marriage tax claim and next thing they wanted 48% of my annual income tax rebate...and, it'll cost me £300 to get out of the contract!! Made an official complaint to them...unsatisfactory response of course, so now reporting hidenda to the financial ombudsman, which apparently many have done.
Absolutely terrible company, do not use. Quitting from their website once you realise you dont want their service does stop them sending threatening letters. They bombard you with texts without a phone number behind it so you cant easily block them. They threaten you with giving a debt, they have decided you owe, to a debt recovery company. This company has been featured in the national newspapers as one to avoid at all costs (literally you will be paying through the nose).
Avoid avoid avoid My wife has asked hidenda to look into marriage allowance. Because she and myself will not sign the forms ,They are now sending her court letters to pay £300 if we do not sign over our tax allowance over to them. Messege to Hidenda- We won't be ripped off or bullied.Take us to court!
Excellent service, Hidenda made my claims easy and the whole process straightforward. I liked the communication by email, I never felt under any pressure and could always keep track of the progress of my complaint. One claim was s o small they let me off their payment and the others have been really fair for the help and prompt settlement I received. I have claimed my own PPI back independently with a couple of companies but Hidenda made it simple and got me excellent results. Thank you :)
