I brought a washing machine from this Argos and after 6 months it broke and I waited 3 weeks for an engineer to repair it and I then got a call that I needed to rebook it again and wait another 2 weeks. I didn’t know I had to wait a few months for repair and I absolutely don’t recommended buying CANDY washing machines for Argos.
Felt unfairly treated. I was the only person in the main queue to collect a reserved item and once the previous customer before me was finished I proceeded to walk up to be served. As I was coming towards the counter, the sales assistant beckoned over a couple behind me who had literally just walked in to the store. She called them over to serve them instead of me! She saw that I was next and practically in front of her face to be served but just completely ignored me for no reason! I was so confused and angry but didn’t say anything as I had a small child with me and didn’t want to cause a scene. I just don’t get it - she did not seem to know the people or I could have said she was serving her friends but from what I saw there was no need to prioritise these people over me, they too had a click and collect order to get. How rude! Blood boiling, I had to wait even though I was supposed to be next and was then served by another assistant.
Horrible experience. I’ve tried to return a package clearly explaining that the item didn’t fit so it was definitely not being used. The first young guy was extremely rude, trying to say, between the line that all I wanted was refund when I was there really to solve a problem. Then said he needed a second look to the item which apparently had scratches on (I never used the item…) so another “manager “ came and stated they wouldn’t refund me cause they couldn’t resell the item. I had receipts and the item was delivered literally yesterday. I left speechless. Absolutely shocking service. Never again
Just came to collect my online click and collect order. Very upset as when i got home and opened the box the ceiling lights have some parts missing, i knew i should have opened the box when i was at the tills but the sales consultant their who served me seemed to want me to go quick so he could serve the next customer. The staff should really be checking their stock. This probably was a returned item by someone else as the box was not sealed properly I will go back tomorrow and they better give me a refund
Bad experience with this branch,I ordered five items before you order it say they you will received it the next day all the items but after you pay everything the items will arrived different day. I received the 3 items and 2 items left I forgot my Argos card but I show my drivers license and some ID and they 2 items is the remaining items cost £11 I travel to just pick up this but wasting my time and told the manager Dave to cancel but he said wait for 7 days and automatically received the refund but not sure with that. Customer service is poor.
Be aware the stock clearance is their priority and not the customer satisfaction. … it just ruined my first experience. The item what I purchased was changed but I am not sure they will be my first choice in the next time.
Argos store selling technology goods, home & garden, toys, clothing, jewelry and more so if you are looking for any of those it is perfect place . I been there a few times and each time I had to wait long time in the queue and then for my product to come even when my number was ready I have to wait extra time . Customer service was not to bad they did not say bye or good morning.
