After getting stranded tonight at the MOT centre in Ards when they wouldn't release my car I called to get a taxi to dunmurry as I was stuck with my partner and kids. From the Girl that answered the phone and the driver Curtis they were very helpful and very quick to accommodate us. The driver Curtis even offered to help with the repair on the car and was willing to meet me and help me further if I didn't get sorted with a mechanic. Top class service with proper human touch which is very hard to come by these days. Thanks you soo much for all your help
I have been using Call A cab for a number of years now since we moved into the area however the last 6-9 months the service has been woeful !! With maybe 1 in 10 Taxis arriving at specified time, usually between 15-30mins late. Tonight we had a Taxi booked for 5.45pm to head into Ards, at 6.15pm and 3 phone calls to enquire when the taxi would arrive we were informed that they were Struggling for drivers !! Despite telling us at 6.00pm that we were next on the list and the Taxi was on its way. I will not be using Call A Cab in the near future. Plenty more Taxi Firms out there but I always preferred to use a local company !!!
I had a fantastic experience with Cony. Not only was her ride smooth and comfortable, but she went above and beyond by helping me find someone to fix my car. I really appreciated her patience, kindness, and local knowledge. She made sure I got home safely afterward too. Truly helpful and professional – highly recommended!
Well couldn't say enough about the staff and drivers. Prompt, curtious and very professional. Used them just before Christmas, and on Christmas night. Thank you all. Great team. Will be using them again.
Very disappointing. Booked two services, for delivery to and from a wedding, from Bangor to Greyabbey, well in advance. Taxi to wedding arrived 20 minutes late, leaving us in danger of missing ceremony. Taxi home was 35 minutes late, leaving us waiting in the cold. Both drivers were excellent- the problem would appear to be the dispatchers cramming too many bookings in, so drivers are under pressure. Very unsatisfactory. Avoid.
If you're leaving from Ards there's no issue, however if you're travelling from anywhere towards Ards dont bother. Have had 2 cabs booked with them to Ards - one prebooked for midnight from Greyabbey, was dispatched at 00.05 and arrived at 0035 (having waited for 45 mins in the cold). The other booked from Belfast and was told 20 mins. Called after 20 mins, was told that the cbby was just driving up, waited another 20 mins and called, told the cabby was 5-10 mins away, waited another 10 mins and THEN received a message saying cabby had just been dispatched and was still 15 mins away!!!! We are still waiting now! Ridiculous! Therefore will be an hour late to our dinner resverations, lucky we weren't trying to catch a flight! Took a £15 deposit on the first phonecall so couldnt even cancel and book elsewhere. If we had just been told on the first phonecall that cab would take an hour and a half we could have sorted something else out. Will not be using them again!!!
Driver was extremely friendly chatty and kept both me and partner at ease while taking us to the hospital. Helped with all bags and stuff from boot even when he didn't need to. Was an absolute gentleman and great guy.
A taxi was called around 4.30pm today to pick up my 17 year old niece. They refused to take her as she was very drunk, I understand that, however, my niece was unconscious at the time, laying in her own vomit. Her friend informed the driver she was a type one diabetic. Surely he could’ve phoned an ambulance? I know I wouldn’t have left a child in that state. Thank goodness I got her on time, she was in a diabetic coma, luckily she is now recovering in hospital.
