   I would not recommend. On nights out fonaCAB workers turn off their meters to take advantage of people wanting home when taxis are high in demand. I am only home from Australia visiting my sister in Belfast and fonaCAB was sadly the only option for us to get home tonight. For a 6 minute journey he did not turn the meter on and charged us £20, to which my sister said is a common occurrence. I am horrified that they are getting away with this every weekend, one weekend when my sisters friend spoke up to the taxi driver about this he slapped her on the leg and told her to get out of the taxi. Not good values in this company unfortunately.

   Absolutely horrendous service. Used app to arrange pick up from stena terminal. Added a note informing the driver that we would be travelling with two dogs and a baby. Driver arrived and said he doesn't take dogs so would be refusing the fare. He said we would struggle to get a driver to take 2 dogs which I find hard to believe as we make the journey to scotland and back multiple times a year and have never had a problem. I told the driver we had a baby with us and his response was simply "ah well". We booked another taxi using the app only for the driver to say again they don't accept dogs despute me leaving a note on the booking. We then used the app to book another taxi for the to be accepted then rejected after waiting upto 15 mins. This happened 3 times. My partner rang the office and explained the situation and the girl seemed to be the only 1 who cared about fona cabs customers. She rang round drivers for us until she got and and she called back with updates. I only wish I could remember the girls name

   Very good service. Yday my wife forgot her phone in taxi and she was so worried. Even though itz a busy time today the driver came to home and handed over the fone. Cab NGZ 6181 Skoda driver was so nice and honest. Thanks to him and his service. We recommend it

   I need to share the amazing service I got from driver 016 on 03/12/25. I had been working all day before and had slept in and needed to be at Grand Central Station for 2.45 am. The driver could have left but called me a few times to wake me and waited while I got myself ready. I'm so grateful as made my bus for the airport and can't thank her enough. Above and beyond service and again thank you Amanda

   I want to thank one of your drivers who returned my phone to the hotel after I left it in the taxi. It was a very professional and honest gesture, and I am very grateful. The trip was from Union Street to Ibis Belfast Queens Quarter, Many thanks for having such responsible and kind drivers!

   We have just used FonaCAB(16th March, 2023) We booked in advance online. Our cab arrived shortly before 8pm (reg no: LR15VEW), it was a black 5 series BMW. We arrived at Hugh Street, off Lisburn Road about 20 minutes later. However, when it came to payment the driver was a little vague & asked us to pay contactless. I was under the impression my card(stored with you) would pay for the ride? The cost of the taxi was £12.00, the car park fee at airport short stay was £3.50. I said to make it £18.00 to leave a small tip. I have been charged £36.00 !!!!!! Not impressed:(

   Did not arrive at booked time, then said when I rang was not there, even though I was standing at the door waiting. When rang for the third time told I would be a priority but 15/20 minutes wait. Ended up walking. The two big taxi firm here seem not to cater for the locals, better off using a local area firm, more reliable.

   Horrendous service. Had a taxi pre- booked for 8:05 on the app (booked 2 days in advance) for work this morning. At 8:05 it still has the 'searching for driver' - despite phoning twice this status did not change. I was not only late but no car ever appeared despite them assuring me it was en-route. Thank goodness for Uber getting me to work! Unreliable.

   I was on Belfast for a long weekend and was my first visit. Used a fair amount of taxis over the weekend but all we’re from foneacab. They were there exactly when they said they would be, never waited longer than 4/5 mins and drivers were all helpful pleasant and had a good laugh during our journey. I would highly recommend them to anyone going to Belfast and I will be using them again on my next visit
